Got his one of his vids upon the suggestion of others here..Intensive Body Sculpting. Never done Power Yoga before, should be fun!!

But, I previewed the tape, and um......WHAT IS UP WITH THAT MAN'S VOICE?????????? It was downright maddening!!!! He is like a feminized version of Adam Sandler!!!!!

I am sorry....I have not even done his workout yet, and it may be the best thing that has happened to me since Powerstrike, but his voice was the absolute weirdest most annying voice I have EVER heard.

Aside from Janice on Friends, of course......

He has excellent workouts. He makes the aches and pains go away and you feel really good after his class. His voice does have a bit of a slur but "if you can approach it and hang out with it calmly...without reacting...without judgement...then you can truly say you understand yoga" hehehe.
Besides there are lots of annoying yogis out there...like that living arts yoga chick who looks like Yoda : Suzanne Deason and the Yoga Zone blonde Lisa Bennet. What is up with that? I like Yoga Zone because it's more like a simple approach to yoga and it's ok. But that Bennet woman can't cue.
Give Bryan a chance he rocks.

Aww! Ladies,

I am afraid to say that I am not keen on yoga , but Bryan kests voice!
very sexy, he does it for me anyway.

Janice,ha! ha! that was funny (a feminized version of adam sandler),
even my son laughed.

have a good day

Hello! I love Bryan Kest's yoga workouts. However, I 100% agree with you on his voice on his newer videos (including Intensive Body Sculpting). I was so surprised when I first heard his voice on them.

In his first three videos (Energize, Tone, Sweat) his voice is much different. His voice is deeper, he has longer hair, and he doesn't talk constantly like he does in his newer videos.

His newer videos (abs, intensive body sculpting, beginner workout, weight loss) all have the whiney voice (and he continuously talks throughout the workout). I'm not trying to be mean... just trying to explain the difference. I'm not sure why his voice is so different than in his earlier videos. But all the workouts still ROCK.

I think Intensive Body Sculpting is one of his most difficult workouts (I love it). But his earlier three (Sweat, Tone, and Energize) are my favorites, and they are also challenging.

I find Baron Baptiste's videos great as well (baronbaptiste.com).

So, if you find his voice on Intensive Body Sculping unbearable, keep in mind that you might still enjoy Sweat, Tone, and Energize (his three older videos where his voice seems deeper). My husband couldn't believe it was the same guy talking.

Good luck!

Hi Janice,
I agree with everyone else about Kest's voice on Intensive Body Sculpting. IMHO, it is an excellent video if you can get past his voice. It was the first yoga video I ever ordered so at the time I had nothing to compare it to. After not doing it for months I pulled it out the other day. I was really surprised how good it is. Remember, there's always that mute button!;)

Yeah, well, I tried this workout and needless to say Brian's endless chatter is downright MADDENING!!!

I am such a NON-YOGA person that for the life of me I don't know why I keep trying!! This will not be pulled out very often!!

I did take a HOT YOGA class here in Phoenix though that I liked very much. More stretch than spiritual. I think I will stick to that on Saturdays after my long runs.
