Bridge Work

Hey Sparrow,

Not that I would ever hold myself up as an expert, but I think bridge work is done lying on the floor with your feet up on a ball or step, then you raise your butt up off the floor and squeeeze. From the looks of it, I'd say my bridge needs some work. LOL:7 :7 :7 ;)

Bridge work is when you lay on your back with one or both legs on the step or stability ball to work the glutes and hamstrings. Cathe uses weights or the band to increase the intensity. These are great exercises to get definition in the backside.

You can also do bridge work (named for the shape your body takes, supported on your feet and shoulders like a bridge) without a step or ball, just pressing into the floor.
