Bread dip recipe - anyone? anyone?

I got assigned the "dip" for the family Christmas gathering. I was going to make this awesome Russian bread dip recipe that I got from my stepmother years ago. Well...that recipe card seems to be missing and SM doesn't have it anymore either. It was SO good. All I remember about it was that it called for garlic, parsley, chopped pastrami (or corned beef) and I think sour cream?

Does anyone have a recipe like this? If not, could you give some suggestions? I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow. I can't find anything that fits this description through Google.

Maybe I'll get something out of my Lean Bodies cookbook. ha ha

Donna, I know Christmas is over now. I hope you found your dip recipe. I love spinach dip that is put in a hollowed out round bread loaf. If you need this recipe I can give it to you, if not Merry Christmas!
