bosu or rebounder?

I only have enough money to add one of these elements to my workout room.

Which do you think I would get more use/benefits from?

Or is it just a matter of personal taste?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I would get the rebounder if you think you might like modifying some of the higher impact aerobics on it. I can't do 5 days straight of high impact and use my rebounder a few times a week to take some impact out. I love mine and don't know what I'd do without it.

I second the rebounder suggestion. I love mine and would use it for all my cardio but don't for the sake of variety.

I think most people buy the Urban Rebounder. It seems to be the best one for the price. I have one and couldn't be happier with the rebounder. Their customer service isn't always the best though.

I also have the urban rebounder and yes it's a mini trampoline, but I think it's made sturdier than the one's you find at Sporting Good's stores.

I have the ReboundAir but bought it from a girl off the swap. I am very happy with mine. I used to have the cheaper model but like this one better. It has a better "bounce".

I also use it for my "high-impact" cardio. At 41 my knees cannot take alot of high-impact and this allows me the intensity without the hurt. But to be truthful I have never had a BOSU.

I have both and I think it depends on what you want it for and what you'll do...if you are just looking for a cardio prop, then I would get the rebounder otherwise I'd get the BOSU.

I only use my rebounder as a cardio tool, but I use my BOSU for some cardio (not alot), for my abs, and substitute it for my stability ball sometimes. In my opinion, the BOSU is a more "functional fitness" prop where the rebounder is more strictly for cardio.

I use my BOSU more then my rebounder and part of that is because I vary my cardio alot. It's really a personal preference.
