Boston Proper question

Anybody ever order from these folks? If so, how'd you like their clothes. They seem to have some nice things, but they are a bit pricey. I ordered a pair of pants and am interested in seeing how they fit.
 
I've ordered from them a few times and have always been disappointed. The clothes look really nice but the quality is inferior for the price. Very cheap looking. It's too bad because I like the styles but they just don't measure up. I will never order their clothes again.
 
I have had mixed luck with Boston Proper. Some of their stuff is really really nice. Some of it not so much. I would say, in general, their stuff is pretty good quality overall. I don't order a lot from them, but have ordered numerous times over the years. I order a lOT from catalogs, and they are one of the better quality places out there.

Some of it seems pricey, but it is definitely better quality than say Newport News, or Victoria Secret. Also, I've seen some of the exact same clothes from Boston Proper at Cache in the mall. Those items are always good quality.
 
Thanks - I appreciate the advice. I did place an order, but we'll see. I'm petty particular about my clothes.
 
I haven't had much success with them. The quality doesn't come anywhere close to the price. In fact the quality comes close to what you might get from Newport News or KMart.

I'm very particular about my clothes also. I completely quit trying to order from Newport News, VS, Chadwicks, any of those, and the only place I ever order from is Boston Proper, although rarely anymore. You might get something really nice quality, that's the thing, there is no way to know until you get it. I HAVE received things from Boston Proper that were of good quality. If I'm looking for quality without the hassle of returning mail order, I stick to places like White House Black Market, Cache, Cache Luxe and Ann Taylor. Good luck!

I've ordered from Boston Proper several times. I only seem to like how their dresses fit me. I don't like the fit of their pants, nor blouses or jackets. Also, I like their quality overall.

I have MUCH more success ordering from Victoria's Secret.

Thanks!! I'm a shoe girl, too, much to my DH's chagrin. Boston Proper sells some great brands of shoes. I plan to keep an eye on their site to see when some of those great brands are on sale! The pants I just could not resist.
 
I ordered from them once. It was a little handkerchief skirt, and the price was 39.99. When I got it, I was very disappointed as it was thin and unlined...definitely NOT worth the price, and I sent it back. Those cargo pants look more substantial though...maybe you will get lucky!
 
Well - got the stuff from Boston Proper yesterday. The pants are really cute, but they are very lightweight. They'll be great for summer, but they leave a bit to be desired for winter. They do fit well and look really adorable on - although I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who is hippy - I don't have a butt and they make me look like I do - which is good for me.

The shirt I ordered is much nicer and really cute. And the shoes for $19.99 are wonderful. I will wear them a lot this summer.

But, overall, I probably won't order from them again unless there is a great sale.
 
I've ordered from them. The quality is top notch however, they run big.
I normally wear a size 4 or small. I order 2's and x-small from them.
 
I ordered a navy dress with no back and YUKKK! Very poor quality. I was expecting a more formal look. The bathing suit from IT FIGURES was pretty good. Overall, I was very disappointed in the cost of shipping and having to pay again to return! I will not order there again. Zappos is spoiling us all. . .

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Athleta. Now there's a place I've had some great luck with. Lots of sporty looks there.
