How come I can't find a job that I really enjoy??? I like this job and I basically get paid to do NOTHING but it is getting to me and I think this job may have contributed to me adding a couple of lbs to my bottom halfx( I am a very active person and I love a job where your go go go...and this is definitely not it.
Its a good job, the pay is o.k, the people are great and my boss is good.I have been here for a year and tonight I am working the night shift, till 8 in the morning.But I want to be home with DH and DD.I don't want to be here by myself flicking through the channels.
Just a vent...trying to use up some of my time.....11 hours to gox(

Oh it is only 9:44:-( In another hour I am gonna get super comfy and go for a snooze:) The sleep is never the same as home though b/c I am sleeping in a recliner and I am waking up every hour.When I get home I will crawl in bed.
I brought movies one weekend and one night I got the t.v to work and the next night I did't.I can't figure out what button I pressed on the remote.
I am actually get sleepy:) I had a friend call me this week and she needed to ask me something. I haven't talked to her in a long time and I had planned on talking to her this weekend.I think she may be getting married and wants me to be a part of it...but who knows?

I think that I may have asked you this before, and please forgive me, I forgot. Where do you work/what do you do? Sounds like a dream!!! Getting paid to sleep and watch tv. Heaven. Where in Canada do you live? You are two hours ahead of me.

I love weddings!!! Weddings are so joyous (at least they should be!) and drinks all around!!! Just kidding! :) Weddings are the greatest things on earth, second only to the birth of a child. :D I want to go to a wedding soon! Everyone I know is already married, though. Ugh, I am rambling. Dan is at a church meeting tonight and the kids are watching a movie, so I am just chilling. Bored. out of my TREES. what does that mean exactly??? :)

I work at the airport.Its a refueling stop for private aircraft but it hasn't been very busy lately.So I just pretty charge them for there fuel and smile:) And say.."Thank You for your thousands of dollars":)
I live in Newfoundland Canada and we are probably 2 1/2 hours ahead of you. We have a 30 min time difference with the rest of the world, how weird is that?:) Try explaining that to everyone.
We had a lot of weddings this year.I got married 4 yrs ago but most of our friends weren't married then.So this will be our 3rd wedding this year.A bit hard on the pocket book though.
So your DH is in church? Do you guys go faithfully? Something I should start getting into I guess.
I don't know but if I were in a tree I would be so bored that I'd fall out!:eek:

well, not in an actual church building, but they are meeting at the leader's house of the north sector to talk about some changes. We do go every Sunday and used to also go every Tuesday plus bible talks on Fridays. We used to be absolutely hot for God, I mean really zealous, but when I got pregnant I lost all of my energy and did nothing but sleep. It is hard for you to do well spiritually when you feel like crap. Actually, that is no excuse. I have really trying to get back in my bible. We no longer have the weekly bible talks (I think that is why they are having the meeting). I know that God still loves me, but I feel so guilty for not being as close to Him as I was three years ago. I feel like lately, though, everything has been pointing me back to Him! He is a pretty cool God and always calls me back!

half an hour time difference??? ROTFLMBO!!!!! That is the funniest thing that I have ever heard!!! Hehehehe! How DO you explain that?

Who can afford to fly when they have to pay thousands in gas??? That is crazy!!!!!!!!! How do you wake up when a customer arrives? ;-)

First thing...i work with the nosiest man around so I would never sleep through a plane landing.And they always call in on a radio first.I can hear everything.I can hear the Air Traffic Control center and I can also hear the plane or any of the planes when they talk to the tower.Not many planes just pop in, we are always well aware that they are going to arrive.Its the phone calls at 3 a.m that get me.They must know I am a sleep!:)
Well, these are rich people. I meet Beyonce and Jay-z last summer.So I think they can afford the price of fuel.:) I guess they pay the price for the privacy.I think they were on vaca in Europe...NICE:7 So it is mostly rich people or people who work for businesses and they are travelling on the company jet for meetings.

The 30 min time difference is true! Its 11 here so Im thinking it 8:30 there?

I use to go to church alot to.I grew up in a very religous home.But its either all or nothing and the times I did go they knew there was a "sinner" in the bunch so the cermen got changed to hell v.s heaven.It did'nt take me long to catch on.Eventually DH said..thats it, Im not comming here anymore.It was a small church filled with older people...Im sure the pastor wasnt' preaching to them about that stuff.
If I were in a bigger city I would go to church.But when you go to a church around here thats small and they know your new...LOOK OUT!:eek:

wow, what were they like? who else have you met? My girlfriend met Harrison Ford at a strip club in Columbus OH and he was smashed. She got his autograph and he told her to tell people that he met her at Wal Mart! LOL!!!

That is too bad about the church you were going to. The more I read in the bible, the bigger difference I see between "religious" and "spiritual". They are completely different and only one of them will help you get to heaven. We have a congregation of about 500 including kids and it is a very familial environment. Everyone is a sinner, everyone sins. Forgiveness and understanding is so important, and Jesus did not go around condemning people. DH went to a church that was very fire and brimstone, the congregation was very self righteous. It is so sad to see people turn others away from God because they are arrogant. Ugh! x(

They kept to themselves.She seemed friendly but he was more outgoing.I didn't ask them for an autograph b/c they sort of went and sat by themselves, if they had chatted I would have.
I don't think I have really meant anyone else.If they were some what important "in their own world" I didn't know it.I would never know a race car driver or a hockey player.I had a older guy chat with me one night and he was on his was to amsterdamn by himself.He bought a model airplane and he gave me his cc.It was a very heavy card and I commented on it. He said..."yeah, its titanuim (sp?), you can't break it and you can never wear it out" I thought...wanna bet!:7
Everybody i have met are mmostly americans though and all of them have been really nice.

I won't be doing much else this weekend.When I work, I don't do anything else, only workout:) I also switched some shifts so I am workng days next weekend but someone else is working my Wed and Thurs day shift so I have 5 days of striaght!Looking forward to it!

It will be awesome to have that many days off in a row!!! What do you plan on doing? Do you and your daughter go on dates? Have you taken her to see many movies? We bought Mean Girls because we heard that it was really cute. It is really evil!!! I do not want my daughter talking or acting like those girls were! We watched about ten minutes and then turned it off. We saw A Cinderella Story, which we all loved, including DH! I am a Hilary Duff fan, I don't know why. She is just so likeable! She and Mandy Moore are the only teens that I think are okay for my daughter. Lindsay Lohan is a mess, Jessica, Britney, Christina forget it. Mariah also loves Reese Witherspoon, whom I also love! She is so centered and real. And she LOVES Chad Micheal Montgomery. He is kinda cute, though, I guess. I think it is so cute that she is getting crushes! How do you handle your daughter when she tells you that she likes someone?

Oh dear...she always likes someone! hahaha So there is not much left to say! Its only last year and this year that she has been focusing on playing with girls more then boys.Before this, I was thinking...what in the world am I gonna do with her when she is 16? I am not so concerned now.But I know that it is only little crushes and they don't last long.I think all the girls like one boy in the class.So she would really have to fight for him hahaha
She has gymnastics 3 x a week so thats most of her evenings there.I take her to movies when there is a good one playing. Sjy high is playing this weekend so I might let her go with some friends if she wants.Our town doesn't have any crime so she is safe. The only crime around here are kids trying to get into peoples cars to take their coffee money!
She plays outside with her friends most eveings until 7 ish.Thats where she wants to be so I let her be.I can't blame her.I wouldn't want to spend the evening in the house with my mother either
Mean girls wasn't a good movie and they were horrible.I really like Kate Hudson to.She seems alot like Reese.

Im watching the green river killer on A&E.I may not get to sleep after all, the music is spooky enough!

I keep reading about how safe Canada is. Why do you think that it is more safe than America? My sister has her theory, but I am never going to repeat it. We are very safe where we live, which is a very small town where noone does anything without everyone else finding out about it. The only thing that we have to worry about here is loud music! LOL!!!

I love doing stuff with Mariah. Dan takes her out on dates at least once a month and we go shopping together and get ice cream. She gets to play outside until six thirty, and then we all sit down for dinner and then do chores together. We take turns listening to music each night. I try to make it as fun as I can. Doing chores sucks, even for me!!! :) I don't know what I am going to do when she is a teenager. she is beautiful and I don't want some punk with a smooth tongue to come around and talk pretty to her. I am so afraid that I am going to be a dragon, just like my mom!!! I really don't want her to be afraid of me, but I feel this intense need to protect her! I know that it is a ways down the road, so I have plenty of time before the grays start growing!!! :p

Kate Hudson is so cute!! I also love Kate Winslet. She isn't skinny like the rest of Hollywood and she loves her body. That is so great for our girls! Did you see Reese on Oprah? She is one tough chicky! I want to be just like her, only I think that my hubby is a bit more involved than hers is!

Some parts of Canada are safe and some are not.Like any city I guess.My sister lives up north and the crime rate is unbeleivable up there.Apparently there are alot of Inuit who drink and they cannot handle drinks like we can so it hits them hard and they do crazy stuff.I think Vancouver is also suppose to have a pretty high crime rate but we never hear much about it on the news. There have been a few murders in the city but like I said...its a city and if I lived there my daughter wouldn't be quit so free.
I know it is gonna be hard when they get older. My mom wasn't a dragon but I was always wrong.They were happy if they knew the boy came from a chrsitian home...for some reason that was suppose to stop us from having sex! How they figured that...I dunno!;)
The way I see it is maybe, we are young and maybe our kids will feel like they can talk to us about things more then we could talk to our parents.FAce it, the world is becomming more open about everything.When i was growing up I don't even think I knew what a lesbian was. Now I think some kids think they have a "choice", instead of what you are.I know that there were a lot of problems around here with kids experimenting but I haven't heard much about it lately.

LOL!!! So, I have to ask: Did you ever get any of your BF to lie and say that they were a christian so that you could spend time with him??? Hehehe!!! I would! My mom didn't care if you were christian, black, white, chinese, budhist, preacher's son, you could have been Jesus and she would not let you anywhere near me! Especially if you were a lesbian! :+ :p :+

The world has changed so much just since our generation was growing up. I don't remember things being so scarey in the 70's!!!

I drive through my town and see all of these kids running loose and wild at such young young ages and it makes me crazy. I DON'T live in what I consider to be the safest of towns and if I have to be here when Joey is older, he will NOT be running around like I see the other kids doing! Play in our yard, play in a friend's yard, fine but do NOT NOT NOT play in the street! I HATE that! It drives me insane when I see a young kid playing in the street! There are just too many things that could go wrong!!! YIKES! I don't even want to think about it! :eek:

So do you ladies think I'm gonna be the over-protective kind? ;)

Did I spell Inuit wrong or did you?:) They are like Indians I guess.Apparently they have some sort of checmical in there body that doesn't react well to alcohol.I think we all have that chemical!:)

No, I never got any of my BF to lie b/c I knew they would find out the truth! They knew everyone.I always went out with boys in my school which was a christian school.So I only got to see them on school grounds, which was lunch and recess.I guess they didn't care to much b/c how much damage can you do in public?And what was the point in lying? if they found out I would only have to deal with her wagging tongue so I'd rather not!hahahaha I think we are having a high school reunion nect year which would be awesome.I am not sure how many people will actually show up though .

Wendy, I snuck out the window after my mom fell asleep. :eek: I don't know why but there are actually parents who believe that it is wrong to set boundaries for their kids and discipline will hurt them - well, yeah, it is discipline, it is not supposed to feel good!!! To be honest with you, it scares that crap out of me that those kids are my kids peers!

Don't laugh at me...but I have never watched Star Wars! I know no one can beleive it...and I didn't see ET either. Just doesn't interest me.Apparently if I see Star Wars Ill be hooked though.

Umm, I don't know. I was hooked because I love the story of a fallen hero and redeption, though episode three was awesome and very emotional. Here, I will send you another one, check your email again in, say, three minutes!
