Boot Camp kicks my butt every time.

Did Boot Camp last night. I do pretty good until around the 7th cycle. I'm lying on the floor after the core portion for cycle 6 and Cathe says OK time for more cardio and I have to laugh at myself because by this time my butt is dragging and I slowly get up by bracing myself on my high step to stand up. It's at this point I think "Man, this is why it's called boot camp".

This week is MTOM and I'm going to desperatly try and do something everyday. Even though it'll only last Wed thru Sat I get soooooo tired and just want to do nothing but sit on the couch. So even if I just use those days as weights, light cardio, or even yoga I'M GOING TO DO SOMETHING. I hope I can stick to it. Anyway, the two HC workouts I ordered are suppossed to ship today so I'll be getting those soon. YEAH.

Yes, I have the same issue with Boot Camp! IMAX does that to me too! I have found that putting alittle eloctrolyte replacement (esp. when it is TTOM)in my water helps this a lot. On days when I just can't seem to bear the thought of finishing (before I even start!), I take a half packet (of whole if I really need it) of energy gel. It's the best 50 calories you will even ingest! It gives you just enough to get through to the end without losing your coordination and drive completely!

I used to dread doing BC but now I like it since I've been running regularly. The only thing is that my sides feel like they've been bruised if I haven't done it for a week or more! The core work really gets me. ;) /karen
