BodyRX'ers question

During Cycle 1, the book recommends 30 grams of Fiber daily. Is that a minimum or maximum?
I see that only 1 cup of AllBran cereal has 31 grams. That's already more, plus then you add on the fiber in veggies, etc. What's the scoop on this?

Thank you, in advance.

I think somewhere in the book (or maybe a different one that I have read) says that you should increase fiber at a rate of 5-10 grams/week. If your body is accustomed to around 20 grams of fiber per day, you shouldn't have any problems going to 30 especially if it is spread out through all your meals that day. I did this about a year ago and didn't have any troubles.

Hi, I had been wondering about the Body Rx and if it would be good for DH (and I will be eating the way he does too) He has hypo glycemia and I need to feed him hi fiber, low/no carbs, and lots of protein, fat's ok-but in moderation, only certain fruits and vegs and very little else. Do they have sugar free recipes? I was going to get the book, but I wanted to see if it was good for our needs first. Also, could you give me the website for the home page. I use to have it, but can't find it now (even after doing a search).
thanks.
