OK after reading the posts a few weeks ago I got this DVD & tried it yesterday. I really, really liked it. Of all the pilates workouts I have I'd rank this maybe in the top 3 for core work. For anyone considering it I'd highly recommend it.
I think that is a good dvd also. Haven't done it in a while, but I think I did the yoga abs last time. I like doing the yoga abs on there rather than the pilates. But it is all good!
Kim, that's really funny--I definitely liked the pilates better than the yoga, but we did the yoga second & it was a really nice mix, moving from the more intense to the more relaxing. The only thing that bothered me was Rodney Yee's abs--as in, he doesn't have any! LOL! I found it a little odd that someone with a great body but no abs was selling an ab workout. But I'm not much of a yoga person & I did enjoy this workout.
So, my top 3 core workouts are now:
1) Core Max
2) MTV Pilates Mix
3) Body Target
The other MTV workout, the original, used to be in my #3 spot, but it's been bumped to #4.
