Body Max - Yikes!

I just did all of Body Max yesterday for the first time in awhile and forgot how tough it was. I mean, I knew that after the step I had to do the circuits, (which to me is the toughest segement), but then I thought I'd be home free. I was suprised, however, to find that the upperbody section made me sore today. The shoulder section seemed to go on forever and never mind the crazy eights! I guess next time I do this, I will know not to get relaxed until after the triceps are done! Of course, then you have those tough abs... Man Cathe never fails to impress me with her stamina and energy!

Hi Jillybean!
I'd never actually done Bodymax all the way through - until the other day! I'd only done the 2 cardio sections together and had only previewed the upper body section. However, I decided to "tag" it onto the end the other day and boy, was I in for a surprise with the upper body work. There was me, in my arrogance thinking, how tough can the upper body work be when it's only 30 or so minutes long?! Piece of cake, I thought! How wrong was I? I really had to laugh, though, when I finished the third set of rear-delt flies and literally threw my weights to the floor in "agony", just as Cathe said "Now, you didn't throw those weights down, didya?". That really made me laugh, as she always seems to come out with those kind of comments at appropriate times!!
So, yes, to agree with you Jillybean, Bodymax is a good ole fashioned toughie!

I have just taken this out of my rotation but my goodness I actually look forward to the weight work when I do it for relief.

I agree about Cathe I don't know she does it by the time we get to the ab section (why I have to do the entire tape I don't know) I am finished.

I normally reward myself after with a nice cup of tea its all that I can lift.
