Body Max Cardio...

I recently purchased Body Max and have done the workout twice. One thing that I've noticed is that I'm REALLY whooped after the cardio and drills sections.

I'm not generally a cardio weenie :+ , so this has me perplexed. The choreography is all familiar enough that it's no problem.

Is it possible that the cardio section of this is using a faster BPM than some of Cathe's other workouts. For example, I did IMAX the next day with no mods and didn't experience the same level of whoopedness.

Thoughts?

Yes! I definitely noticed it was faster when I did it a few weeks ago. WHen I started out, it was like "whoa, Nelly!"

And some of the choreo seems like some of the intervals in IMAX2 as well.
 
Yes, this is definitely a fast-paced workout, almost non-existent recovery times. I just finished it and I am wringing out my clothes.
 
Fast paced and no slow working up to the blasts. I love this workout. Did it the other day and felt great afterwards.

I really love the music in this too!! SOmething about the faster pace and simple choreography lets me get a much better workout.

i think this is why i gravitate more to her older workouts. i find imax to be simple choreography but very intense moves. same with MIC and even a little in SJP. it seems to focus more on heart rate then learning moves. not to say i don't like the others but its something i really feel gets me going. i remember doing all step when i had it and it was a little tricky but nothing like she has now. LOL

Thanks for the input, everyone! I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one finding this faster paced. I do like it though :D .
