body max and imax in the same day

Is doing both of these in the same day ok? I am a day behind int he August rotation and wanted to catch up so I am in the same place as everyone else. I am not tired now but I may be when Imax is done. Anyones opinion would be appreciated.
 
I would start with imax today, and add bodymax on at the end of the rotation. Someone else in the checkin said they were doing that too.

I wouldn't attempt to do it all in one day. You wouldn't be able to walk tomorrow.

I second Kathy. Just because you feel okay now doesn't vouch for tomorrow. I think two full cardio type workouts back to back is a bit much. Tack it on at the end.

I wouldn't do it. And if you can, I'd venture to say that you didn't put enough effort into Body max.

Don't feel forced into doing the roation exactly as is, or feel bad if you miss a day or feel "behind." I'm sure that others are not necessarily following the rotation to the letter.
 
Thank you Kathryn for saying that people don't have to stick to the August Rotation as it written. That rotation and any rotation for that matter can be modifed to your fitness level and time contraints. Not only that, but if you don't feel that the rotation is safe... then don't do it!! There are many rotations out there to choose from.

I missed today's August rotation I'll do Tuesday's tomorrow, there is just no way I could do what was called for today after teaching 2 intermediate Aerobic classes 1 advance aerobic class, and 1 advance strength training class. I'd fall right on my face. So don't worry about it. Either stay a day behind, or just forget one day and jump right back in with everyone else. You'll still get good results with the calories this rotation burns, there isn't away not to. Unless you go order a big mac everyday for lunch and dinner, and have cake for breakfast.

Uhhhhh...Wha??? Did I read your post right?? Were you actually considering doing IMAX and BODY MAX on the SAME DAY???? Oh, girl, I wouldn't recommend that unless your either totally insane or your name's WONDER WOMAN!!!:) :) :)
 
If you want to "catch up" try adding one part of Body Max to the scheduled workouts for the next few days. For example, do IMAX and maybe the step only portion of Body Max. Then the following day, do the scheduled workout and the Body Max Circuits, and continue until you have eventually finished the Body Max workout.

Just a suggestion but Hope that Helps.
 
I'm sure I will get behind in the rotation also. If I miss a day I plan on picking up where I left off and I will just finish a little bit later. I'd already be behind if I hadn't started the rotation on Sunday so to a last minute dinner invite last night. I KNOW I will get behind once school starts...I'm already planning on it so I won't get frustrated!

Thank you, I decided before I read the rest to add Low Max warmup and the blast only 2 times since I don't have Imax yet. I hear I will have it soon as it came out of backorder. I feel caught up anyway.
