Body Fusion (aka: Step N Sculpt) - Pictures

SNM Videos

Body Fusion (aka: Step N Sculpt) is one of the two step routines featured on DVD #1 and is the harder of the two step workouts. We use the Step Company’s Circuit Step in this routine, but your Health Club step will work just fine. This workout is probably most similar to our Cardio & Weights video, but Cathe will go into more details about this workout tomorrow. In the meantime we have now posted around 20 pictures from Body Fusion at: http://www.cathe.com/2004_Pictures_Body Fusion.htm

There's a total absence of sweating on these piccies! They all look fresh as daisies! Love Jai's hair.

VERY pretty outfits!! (I hear the faint sound of my credit card calling me!!;-) )

Cathe, would it be appropriate to use heavier weights in this workout to make it more challenging if necessary?

RE: SNM about Clothing?

Does anyone recall what the response was to the Pitbull clothing? I know the prices are pretty good, but I know there were a lot of opinions when BB clothing was being purchased. I just can't remember what the thoughts were on Pitbull. I have a shopping cart full of stuff, but before I hit checkout, I would like some input.:) Thanks!!

Hi Cathe & everyone,

I am 45 and in the worst shape of my life....I need to gain strength and lose body fat and have preordered both of the beginner/intermediate DVD's. I have admired Cathe & those who can do her workouts for years and I am so excited and grateful to you for creating these new beginner style workouts! Although it may be a 'hoot' to your followers to see you with 3lb dumbbells this is perfect for people like me :) Hopefully I will be able to progress to many of the other wonderful workouts I've read about here soon!

It is rather funny that I have been sort of 'in training' to prepare for these workouts lol! I have been walking 2-3 miles every evening with a dear friend and eating lighter & healthier 5-6 times per day to gain some endurance and in an attempt to kick-start some semblance of a metabolism. So far I have lost 10lbs since December and still have 65 to go....wish me luck!

Dani I don't know about the clothing but Im ready to shop there to because the outfit looks so cool and of course the gang looks good in it too!!

RE: SNM about Clothing?

I know! This stuff is so darn cute! I found a couple of new things to head into spring, but I hesitate because one of the clothing lines was sort of pooh-poohed last fall. It may have been Bluefish though. Anyone?! I would love to have some new tops, but not if they are not up to standards of Cathe's crowd:)

RE: Dani!!

This kind of thing just makes me konk myself on the head! Is it just a bit too obvious how long I have been wanting some new stuff to work out in?;) So, if I understand my own question, than it is Bluefish that has good quality, but runs small and has no support. This is probably why I didn't order. I need all the support I can get!

We go back to Pitbull then....have you tried this Barbara? Anyone? Runs big, small, quality, etc? Let's not forget that all important "support" question either:)

Thanks for the help Barbara! I should just do a search myself, but I didn't think of that....silly me!

Kandy;
that is so great. I have a sister who was interested in Cathe too but it was just too much for her. This would be a perfect intro to the world of Cathe fitness and may be just what my sis would like.

Good luck!

RE: Dani!!

Hi Dani! Maybe I can help you. I'm going to be 100 percent honest.

I agree, Blue fish has wonderful TOP NOTCH quality material and quite a variety of both classic and trendy fun fitness wear. Other than their clothes running a little smaller than true to size I was very pleased with what we had ordered from them. As far as support in the bust area, I can't fairly comment there since I am not one who needs additional support in that area.

As far as Pitbull clothing, I will be honest and say that their clothes are cute and fit well upon trying them on but NOT after sweating in them. Speaking for only the pieces that we ordered, the pants and the pastel tank tops with the thin black piping down the front were simply okay for support (I also would definitely hand wash and hang dry these pieces).

The baby rib camisole(in black, lavendar, and sea breeze blue)tops and the baby rib tee (sea breeze blue t-shirt) however, did not provide enough support for a workout. These tops both lost their support as we sweated in them. They were thin and wrinkled when we sat down and stayed wrinkled when we stood up (once sweaty). We also had to shorten the straps to the cami by 3 inches to get better support. I honestly would not recommend them for anything other than to wear out on a summer day with shorts or jeans. I'll admit though that they were very cute on and I honestly did like them a lot for just wearing at the gym because they are a very comfortable soft fabric and look very fitness like. They just don't meet the needs of high intensity workouts in my opinion. Hope this helps.
