For those of you who follow Body for Life, what workouts do you use? I'm thinking of doing this following the Pyramids. Do you think this is a good choice, or should I follow PS series, H&S, or some other series?!?!?

TIA for any info you can give me.
 
ive done BFL with the workouts from the book. They have the workouts on the website too. I have also used the Pyramids and running HIIT's for the cardio. I did a four week blast of this and I enjoyed the results. I got noticably stronger in just those few weeks.

I haven't ever tried the PS or S&H series.

Try them all, I say!

Well.....I ate.

that about sums it up. Food is my achilles heel. I tried to make the diet changes. I struggle with getting enough protein. And, when I up my protein, it makes me constipated.

I would follow it by the book for the first 12 weeks. See how "body for life" works for you. Then if you think you'd like more variety or want difference results, switch up. But if you don't follow it by the book, how does one really know how well it works?

I did my first 12 weeks by the book and had terrific results. I did add videos back in because I was bored. I was doing 4 weeks BFL, 4 weeks S&H and 4 weeks pyramids until my puppy ate my pyramid tapes :(

I also use one of the Imax's or Intense Moves for cardio.

I found I got the greatest results from straight BFL but for me to stick with it I new I needed more variety. I still get good results using videos tho.

I followed the eating portion also...gotta love my free day :) Water was my downfall. Often only getting in 32-40 oz. rather than 64 which I am for.
