Body for Life for Women?

I've heard so much about BFL from people here on the boards, but I was wondering about the book Body for Life for Women by Pamela Peeke. I checked out both it and the original Body for Life book by Bill Phillips at the library and I wonder if I should stick to the book for women or what? Does anyone do the program based on that book? (I know some of you don't even read the book but just do it online or something.)

I don't know for sure but I think BFL for women is a "watered down" version of the regular BFL. If I were you I'd go for the original with Bill Phillips. I have the book. I used the diet information but never did the suggested work out routine. At the time I just could not believe something like that would work but apparently it does! I'll have to give it a go some day! I guess I'll put it at the bottom of my HUGE to-do list of rotations I have going!;)
 
I'm with fitmom - BFL is the one to go with - or NROLW, or fityummymummy - BFL for women is comparing Cathe to Richard Simmons (who I love,but he wouldn't kick my butt!)...I get a half hour at Barnes and Noble every week while my son takes guitar lessons (sure you're all thrilled to know that), and have had the luxury to read all of them during that time! And take notes! Cheezy huh, but I have to save for STS......
 
Lainie-I agree with everybody so far.....if you're going to do BFL, do the original BFL. The Women's version, in MY MY MY opinion (for what it's worth, lol) gives you more room to wiggle (also known as cheat). lol Too much room for excuses and whining. AGAIN....just MY opinion, but then again, I'm a BFL JUNKIE right now! LOL

I have a lot of fitness books and this is the only one that I have given away total waste for me. The original is so much better.
