Good MOrning Everyone,
I don't think anyone started the thread yet.I couldn't see it anywhere anyway.
Who is counting down the days until free day?????????? Well I have not been as strict as I would have liked to have been this week.I have been ALOT better then my eating habits before but not right to the book.SOmetimes I wonder if right to the book is realistic for me?I feel better when I don;t eat alot of sweets but I need that tiny little thing once a day.But I have to keep it in my mind that I am following the BFL way, b/c if I think that I am allowed to have a small treat a day then I will be having two small treats a day.I can't even give myself a inch and I want to take a mile!
Anyway,I am feeling pretty good in my clothes today.I went for a long run last night and I went for another one today.Todays run was only 50 min though.LAst nights was 70 min.I nned to work upper body as well.I am not sure if I will fit it in today.I worked today so I was up at 5:45 and I didn't have a good sleep.I am going to wkr now and I don't get off until 9 tonight. So I don't know if I will have enough energy for upper body.If not, I will get up early tomorrow morning and do it then.
Have a good day everyone...
Lori:)

Lori,

It sounds like you are doing terrific. Remember strive for progress not perfection. I am doing better than earlier in the week but still not up to par yet. I did do some workout last night (Firm LBS) but not a BFL one. I did keep my eating clean and got my water in. Tonight I have back to back agility classes and didn't get up early to workout so no workout for me. My goal today is clean eats and water water water.

Hi Lori & Colleen! I am looking forward to my free day, but I still plan to keep myself in check and have only 1 free meal and treat since I have been having a small treat or two each day this past week. Next week will hopefully be better since my TTOM will be over. Reviewing my food list, I've actually been following EFL more than BFL, mainly adding some lowfat cheese periodically. Do you think that will matter? I think that I will try the pudding recipe in the EFL book and see if that helps with my sweets cravings. I'm the same way with food, give me an inch and I will take a mile. Actually when I cheat it really is not that bad in comparison to how bad it could be, but I know that it will hamper my results. So I need to get back on track and do it by the book as much as possible, even if by the book to me will be EFL. I have realized that I am not eating enough veggies and drinking enough water.

Last night my calves were so sore from Monday night's PUB/PLB Premix I could barely walk up my stairs let alone workout. So on tonight's agenda will definitely be PUB/PLB Premix & Abs.

It amazes me Lori how you can find the time and energy for your long runs. When the weather is warm I take my dog and baby for a 1/2-1 hour jog or walk, depending on my mood, as well as try to get in my BFL workout. I don't know who enjoys it more the dog or my almost 2 year old. Last week it was so beautiful 3 days in a row that we went out each day. On Good Friday my work was closed so I decided to get my workout in early while the baby was in daycare, but as soon as I picked him up and we got home he began to chase the dog around the house trying to attach the leash to her collar. Of course I could not say no to a long walk. Today is another beautiful day so it looks like I will be going for another jog and then putting in my weights time after my son goes to sleep at 8:30.

Hope your day is going well! I probably won't be checking in next until Monday. The weekends are too busy and chaotic and I'm going to be off of work tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

Kristi

ITs funny...maybe by the time week 12 rolls around, we may be being extremely good girls! Thanks for the vote of confidence Colleen.I think I am doing o.k but I think that if I really stick to it I could be doing alot better.
Kristi, I am so use to working out now, that I fit it in somewhere:) I don't have any infants so that makes it easier.I took the dog last night and it was his last time for a while. He isn't a good walker (or runner) he alwasy has to be going faster then you,he pulls, and he zig zags everywhere.Last night was the last straw.I haven't been enjoying my runs that much, and they haven't been very relaxing b/c I have him pulling me in opposite directions all of the time.He is even afraid of a garbage bag on the side of the road.
I don't know if I lost any weight.I am going to weigh myself in the morning.Even though I have been having a treat here and there, I haven't been saitisfied at a meal yet.I am always hungry for the first couple of meals and I am hungry after I eat them.It takes about 30 min for the hunger to go away. Then from 3:00 on,I am pretty good.
My jeans did look a little better on me today though.I think with the lack of sugar I may be losing those dreaded love handles.
Thats about it for me.I think I am going to get up early tomorrow morning and do PLB before I go to work.
I also have a baby christing on Sunday so I think that will be my cheat day.
