Body fat analyzer question

Sarah,

I see you are ordering the Omron. I am also considering ordering those digital calipers you have to use with my Omron to compare.

I had my BF% figured last fall using calipers and they wanted to use a hand-held to compare. I believe it was 0.8% off, so very close.

Someone asked up in the thread about why take it in the morning when you get up --- it says in my booklet that drinking fluid can affect the measurement.

I think my Omron needs a new battery by now. I am disgusted with it. I think it is confused because I have used it so much. LOL! I am just feeling alittle frustrated morning, can't you tell?

I think Cathy answered why the electric will reach the saline in the implants. Remember there isn't much that dense that won't carry an eletric pulse, at least a little bit, and our brain, uses eletric pulse to tell our body to do everyting. If you had something in your body that didn't let the eletric pulse go threw it. You'd seriously have a problem, as you carry a eletric pulse as long as you breath. Silicon is just plastic, and there are some plastics that really good at carrying an eletric pulse, think computers and some really bad ones like PVC pipe(that white pipe that you put in your yard for sprinklers to your garden or lawn). Maybe that will help.
