I know must of you who ordered Bob's new DVD's, had some time to play around with them. I couldn't order them, since Bob's company will not ship overseas to a military address (APO) My DD who lives in DC ,ordered them for me. My DH went on a business trip to DC a few weeks ago and picked them up for me! It wasn't easy to get them:confused: Still haven't had time to play around with them, I am doing my second round of STS (Saturday I am done with M2). Since I did STS back to back, I need a break from heavy lifting, at least until Cathe's new DVD's come out in Oct:D

Bob posted an offical 4 week rotation on his website. I was wondering, how do you like his new workouts? What results have you gotten from his DVD's?

Here is Bob's official 4 week rotation.

Thanks in advance!

I'm also curious about others results, I have them, but started Turbo Fire and don't have any where to really fit these in right now. I did do the Cardio dvd, I liked it, found it challenging enough and sweat a lot, but my body bugg registered a surprisingly low calorie burn for a full 1 hour workout (about 350 calories). I started the weights dvd one day, but just was not into the format of the workout that day and opted for something else.

I really do buy too much stuff, I just didn't need these right now, but I'll get around to them eventually. You know it kind of reminded me how I feel about the Jillian workouts, I tend to be surprised by liking them when I'm done, but have a hard time going back to them, but yet keep buying them .

OK, I have tried 3 out of the four. I haven't done the strength one yet since I am doing STS right now. However, the cardio is osrt of hard to mix in with STS since you are using weights.

Cardio Conditioning: I have done the 60 minute cardio workout 2 times. I felt that you can make this one really intense by using heavier weights. I used a KB for most of the moves. He does a lot of swings & deadlifts...he mixes it up a lot, but I find those 2 moves done a lot throughout the workout.

Bob's workout's: These are 2 quick moving workouts (as long as you don't follow along to the 2 people in the video). The girl is not as bad as the guy (they moan and groan at times and stop a lot), but go at your own pace and you will sweat...a lot. The first 30 mintue cardio workout is with the girl and he focuses more on lower body, but once again you are using weights (and Kettlebells, if you choose to). The second workout focuses on upper body, you do chest presses, rows, plyo push-ups, curls. I suppose he tries to raise your heart rate faster by adding weights.

Yoga: I love the Yoga workouts the best. If you want something similar to intensity as P90X YogaX, this is a great substitute and only 60 minutes. He does some vinyasas, but mixes in some balance moves with them. The Yoga AB workout is great too...I like how he keeps you moving and your abs are always engaged and on fire.

I hope this helps. His rotation does look pretty good, but I have to warn you that the cardio is not your typical cardio workout...they all involve weights.

Strength workout

I did the strength workout yesterday and it was tough. I most likely should have gone lighter than 12 lbs for some of the moves.
It was non-stop with lots of reps.
I enjoyed it.

I have done the Rev cardio workout and the two workouts on Bob's Workout DVD. I really don't use them as strength workouts but as cardio workouts or circuit workouts. The exception -- I do use the Rev cardio as a leg workout. There are tons of squats and swings. I used a kettllebell for most of the moves. They are non- stop workouts. I really like these workouts. I have not done the strength or yoga workouts yet.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! And especially to Jdimacio---thank you for the detailed response! Very helpful! I think once I am done with Cathe's SC + STS rotation, I will give Bob's rotation a whirl, I will add Cathe's cardio DVD's or a run for cardio, since Bob's cardio DVD is more like a circuit workout.

Thanks again,
Belinda
