So, here I am waiting to go out tonight. I've done all my working out for the day. I'm not going out until 10, so it's too soon to start getting ready (it's 7 p.m. here).

I also have no idea what I'm going to wear. I haven't been out in so long.

Blargh.
 
LOL - that reminds me of shopping with my Mom to find something to wear to a club.

"Why don't you come home and look through my closet dear? I have lots of nice skirts and blouses."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - oh I miss her so:p

I'm thinking capri length cargos, double layered tank top and black running shoes. I hate wearing heels to dance. If you saw me dance, you'd understand. "The first time I saw Shelley on the dance floor, I feared lives would be lost."
 
Have fun going out! DH and I haven't gone out in ages. I think I'm getting old. Lately it seems I'm just too darn tired!!!

You probably could get away with black running shoes with a mumu these days tho :)

Honey, Mini skirts are back with a vengeance. Show off those gorgeous legs and that fantastic bod. AND HAVE FUN TONIGHT. LET IT ALL GO!!!
 
Whatever you wear you will look fab, so just go with comfortable. Damn, I'll be going to bed at 10, I have to work tomorrow - blech!

Gosh, it takes me a LOOOONG time to get ready. My hair takes forever when I curl it. I would need to start at 7 to be ready at 10. LOL!!!! I takes A LOT of effort for me to look presentable... and then it is debatable. ;)

Moms are something else! My mom was hip in some ways... she went to California a couple of years ago and got her nose pierced and another ear piercing. I can't remember what else she did that trip, but I told her I was waiting to see her face on the the "Grandmas Gone Wild" video advertisememt. :) I was joking with her, she had a great nose for the piercing.

BTW, YOU have no reason to not wear a mini-skirt. Your legs are FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

Too CUTE, Autumn!!! She probably looked fantastic! As for me, I used to be like you, took forever, but too many people started complaining & I got tired of their griping, so I have tapered it down to 30-45 minutes and believe me, I can still wig it. I'm not exaggerating on TOO many people complaining, but that's another thread, & I don't want any flames this weekend.

Shelley, if I lived near enough, I'd just go scold you & make you wear a mini! Don't be shy, girl. You look great!!!!

Well, it's Saturday morning at 8 a.m. I didn't get home until 2:30, so I don't know WHY I'm up already.:p

I had a blast. I had planned to actually leave around midnight, but the friend I was meeting didn't even show up until after that, and then the music got really good, so I stayed. My SO is not happy about the lateness of my arrival home. He says he's fine, but you know, you can tell. *sigh*

I had several young boys try to pick me up (and several young girls!). Quite the ego boost. It's amazing how the dark can hide a myriad of sins, isn't it?

And the main reason I don't wear mini skirts when I go dancing is because... well, if you saw me dance, you'd understand. I'm not demure.}( That and the fact that I detest my legs.

Ah well. I had fun. Won't be doing that again for a while. As you get older, recovery time seems to be longer and longer. Do you find that?
 
Shelley, I have found that I don't even have the energy to stay up past 11 let alone go out dancing, and I am younger than you are! Forget about recovery time, I am talking about even getting going!

don't worry, SO will get over it. Just tell him you met some fly girl last night and he will be happy! :9 Just kidding!

I am happy you had a good time! How was your week, didn't see much of you around here!

Ooooooooooh Missy, I'm paying today. My legs are sooooo sore.

Hahahaha - no, the fly girl thing won't work with him. He doesn't like to share;) I gotta tell ya though, there's nothing like having 23 year old boys ask if you would consider going out with them. And there was a 45 year old guy there who thought I was 20. I think perhaps he had been smoking something. What else would explain that?:p
