Blood allergy test? Why always the things you like....

Hi there,

I have been having some stomach problems for awhile now, so I finally decided to see a naturopath.

She did a blood allergy test which told me which foods I am highly allergic to versus which ones I need to reduce.

Has anyone ever had this done?

The test showed cow's milk, almonds (I adore almonds), wheat, barley, white rice, kidney beans, peas, and soya beans. I have to avoid these products for 2 weeks.

I luv almonds and Ezekial bread, and I'll have to find a substitute for them.

Take care,
Sham

*How does the Blood Allergy test work...how does it
determine what I
am allergic to? basically you blood is exposed to all
the substances the list and the lab checks how your
blood reacted to it, and how many antigen-antibody
immuno complexes it forms to a specific substance to
determine how allergic/sensitive you are.

I have to watch yeast and milk. I can still have them but I am limited. I take antigens everyday for my allergies. There are also a lot of other things I have to watch too. :)
