Georgia Anne made it into the world on Sep 16 via C-Section and was 7lb 1oz and 19 inches long. She looked exactly like the baby whose Mommy had exercised in the Dr Clapp book.
Apologies for not posting sooner and not congratulating some of you other new mommies (Congratulations to Jeni and Dana and anyone else I missed)!
I have had complications from the C section. Five weeks of nerve pain along the incision (my ob-gyn now thinks that my internal stitches may have torn trying to get out of bed or the like...it's been pure hell!)
I haven't started any formal exercises yet except for some very modified Pilates exercises ( mainly just the belly breathing). I'm a bit worried about adhesions (I have a few lumps along the incision ) - anyone know anything about scar tissue management?
Jeni, like you, I still look about 4 months prego - I think that is just the way I'm made, even though I gained far less weight this time around (somewhere between 30-35lb I think). I've still got about 15lb to lose, but that is the least of my worries right now. I want to be pain free and do some very careful exercising!
Thanks for being there,
Liz N
