Good morning!!!

Body bar class last night was tough. Tonight is kickboxing. I seem to always look forward to the bar class then the others lately. I guess I like the feeling I get of "power" when I'm strength training. My eating has been really good that it's scary. I'm not going to WW meeting today because I have a lunch meeting for work (at my favorite restaurant - could be trouble). It's rainy and in the 70's today here. I'm ready for the warmer weather. Well I guess I'd better go and start working. :)

Hi Kim, I thought I'd chime in today. I always read the Bikini Countdown each day. Since I can schedule it best to workout in the morning, I did SJP and feel really good. Yesterday I did BodyMax. The weather is the same where I am too, 70 and rainy.

Good morning!

I never got to check in yesterday. Life has been hectic. I took Michael to the allergist on Monday, and the ENT yesterday. He had blood drawn yesterday evening to check for major allergens, including milk and wheat. The ENT is big on wheat being a possible culprit. I wouldn't be surprised about milk; Nicholas had a milk sensitivity when he was about 13 months - three years. First it showed itself through constant ear infections for about five months, and then later through diarrhea. We solved the problem by switching him to soy milk. Michael will now be going on soy milk also. The wheat issue is much harder to deal with. We're going to see how changes in diet affect him, and what the blood work shows. Surgery is still a possibility, although it's a last resort.

Anyway, I haven't worked out today. I'm hoping to get home a little earlier, and do a kickboxing workout, either Cathe or Janis Saffel. Yesterday I did the TLP Core Foundations. It was my third time, and I'm getting better at it! I think I'm going to order the other two in the series. Of course, we should also be getting Cathe's new workouts soon (I preordered).

Kim, I understand about the dog vomit. I have had similar experiences with cat vomit.

Susan, nice to see you here. Welcome!

I hope everyone's doing well. I think we must all be very busy. We haven't had a big crowd here in the past few days.

Trevor, for me "bikini body" is realtive...to what country I'm in! Mexico? Yes. United States? NO!

Okay, back to the check-in. Yesterday I ran at 8-8.4 mph for 30 seconds and recovered at 6 mph for 30 seconds. Next time I will, as Brenda suggested, try it on and incline with one minute on and 30 seconds off. This would work on and ergometer, too. I added on PLB when I got home, so my legs are sore...but DH and I are planning to do Spinervals tonight. I'm gonna have to psych myself up for that because if he bails I'll want to, too!

So many modest ladies on this site! LOL! I was just having fun with you all.
I wanted to just add that I have been reading your "countdowns" and I think you all are doing great so keep up the good work ladies. You should all be proud of yourselves!

Hi all;

Well I'm deep into Cathe's April week 3 rotation . Have been doing everything as she has posted and I think my body is feeling a bit run down from all that I've been doing; either that or it's hormones as it's that TOM at the moment.
I've been feeling rather tired lately plus I've hit a plateu in my weight granted I've not gained but I'm so used to seeing my weight go down about a pound per week but since I've been doing this rotation the number has not moved at all. Slow & Heavy is a fantastic workout as a whloe but I'm beginning to feel I know why it's not recommended for more than 3 -4 weeks; I'm pooped.

I already have been thinking after I'm done with this rotation I'll be doing something 'lite' as if anything Cathe is lite LOL.

Anyways it takes just so much for me to stay up past 7 30 lately.

I hope everyone here is making strides with their chosen workouts/ rotations.

BTW, where is most of the regular posters to this thread?

Pinky are you still on vacation? Sabine enjoy yours . Hellos to Lori, Brenda, Kim, Susan post more :),Lisa, CinDee and oh boy I know I'm forgetting some folks.
