Top o' the morning to ya!

Hope everyone is having a good day. Totally spaced on what day it was today and am not wearing anything green. It's so weird that some of the people in the office are wanting to pinch me due to this oversight.

Anyway, today was listed as Body Max upper body. I was feeling more energetic than just weights so I did the step portion, passed on the power circuits and then did the upper body work. Not sure if that was the best idea because I was feeling tired by the time I got to the weights and had to lighten up a bit. It could also be due to the fact that I am still a bit sore from PUB on Monday. Anyway, the weights went okay (man, Cathe just doesn't let up though on the pace) and I feel like I had a good workout.

For those of you who are following the tank top arms/beach butt rotation (or a modified version of), would you mind giving me some feedback letting me know how you like it, what you changed, other comments, etc.?

Tracy, way to take out your moving aggressions by doing IMAX 2. I bet you kicked some serious butt.

Kim, I'm having a challenging food morning so far. There are leftover mini cupcakes sitting in the staff room this morning. I already had one, picked up another one to have with lunch, and am considering going back for one more for no other possible reason other than I am a sucker for anything chocolate!!!

Big hellos to everyone!

Hmmm... it's 2:45 p.m. DFW time, and no one else has checked in yet. Are you guys partying?:)

Well, today's a rest day for me. Insomnia again last night. I'm tired, I'm resting.

Actually, I'm spending the rest of the afternoon packing, or starting to, at least.

I'm going home with my boy on the 29th and am planning to stay there 'til the end of April. Of course, I'm bringing all my DVD's with me in the hopes that I can work out still. I also hope to check in every now and then.

These last two days have been good, diet-wise. I've been eating a lot of fruit for the sweet cravings. It will be that time of the month and all that...

You all take care,
Pinky

Hello to everyone...it's weird that it's so late in the day, and so far only Sabine and Pinky have been here.

I did Push/Pull upper body, the 2 sets premix. It was actually the 1st time I've ever done that dvd. I was feeling really tired and low on energy today, so it fit the bill just fine. I'm not sure how I feel about that workout - it's probably too soon to tell seeing how I've only done just one pre-mix, but I know there are a lot of mixed feelings about some of the new Body Blast workouts. My initial reaction was "is that all there is?", but again, for a day like today where I'm feeling tapped out, it was good to go easier. I also found myself matching weights with Cathe, except that I don't have 25# dumbbells for the one-handed rows, but that was a new experience for me, because usually I'm lower than she.

I hope everyone is enjoying their green beer (or milk).

Hmmmm....yes very weird in deed! I went to checkin earlier but was running short on time, and that didn't leave me with much time to workout.
I went to get my taxes done and the lady was behind.I was waiting for 45 minx( Then she gave me the GREAT news that I have to pay in this year. Not alot...$260.But I could have bought new workout clothes with that money.I guess it won't be long and I will be receiving a bill from the govt.
So, I only did 30 min on the treadmill today.I will double up tomorrow I guess but I did a great workout yesterday as well.
Anyway,I should go get some dinner and get to work again.
Lori:)

Hey everyone,

Last night I went home and worked out for 50 minutes: all Jennifer Kries, 30 minutes of modern dance type moves, ballet and yoga, and another 20 of more yoga. The minimal (compared to Cathe's cardio) movement in the first 30 minutes was enough to get me coughing. Will this never end! AHHHHHH! This morning was pilates side series and an ab workout that was mostly yoga based. I guess I'm kind of doing the freestyle thing with my abs, and I have to say, there about as flat as they've ever been. It's really cool, but I want to get back into cardio too, and weights.

Sabine, have you tried any of the Humble Beginnings workouts? I've only looked at the menus so far. I can't wait to try them. I'm thinking 5004 may not be too bad when I can start back with cardio. I haven't done any of Christi's workouts in a while; I'm looking forward to it. Are you ordering the Terrific Trio DVD? I have those on VHS, but would love the flexibility of the DVD. I don't know what to do!

Pinky, how's Andrew? Michaels stomach is bugging him again--the school nurse told me today that a lot of the kids are getting over the stomach bug he had last week, only to get it again, and she thinks he might be coming down with it again, because he was complaining of some stomach pain and lack of appetite. I have to say I let him stay in school though, because I'm concerned that while there are some real physical issues with his headaches, I'm also concerned that he may be getting used to not being in class all day, and unless he's really, really sick... I think he's going to stay there.

I hope everyone is well today!
