Hey everyone,

I'm feeling mildly better although I have lost my voice! This happens quite frequently as my sinuses drain, the fluid irritates my vocal cords and they get inflamed and irritated. Argh (said in a whisper)!

I did want to do something today so continued with the 'easy for me' theme and did Firm Cardio Sculpt w/ Allie from the first BSS. This is probably my favorite out of all the 'recent' Firms. Went well.

Hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying this lovely Wednesday!

Hello everyone,

Sabine, I'm glad you're feeling better, and that you're doing easier workouts, although the way you said you were feeling yesterday, I think I would have taken the day off. I've done the Cardio Sculpt and enjoy it.

I went with easy cardio yesterday--my cardio Salsa. I just felt that I had done enough Sundy and Monday with RS, and the Kickbox Circuit, and really just was using it to warm up. Besides, I keep seeing people say that it whittles your waist, so what the heck. Then I did the Winsor Maximum Burn DVD that has been discussed in a couple of other threads. I think it is the toughest pilates workout I've done; I was sweating after it! Today I continued my non-Cathe team, and did Tracy York and Michele Duzois' Pilates Scupt. There were some interesting moves in there. For those of you who've done Push Pull, Cathe demonstates doind flyes with your legs up. They did that, and then did unilateral flyes the same way. You really feel that in the core! I also did the abs from Power Hour.

Tomorrow, I think I might do one of the shorter KPC premixes, throw some abs on, and leave it at that.

I also hope everyone is well.

Glad you're feeling better, Sabine. After I finish a few tough weeks my body demands rest, and I feel kind of like you did yesterday. Good for you to do something...I ususally veg!

Sunday was an 18 mile bike ride...DH and I will up that to 25 or 30 this weekend, hopefully. Monday was nothing (visiting my mom and a friend all day). Yesterday was PS legs, and although I didn't feel it yesterday I sure feel it now! Today will be PS CST plus IMAX2. Weight down a bit, but I'll really have to tighten the diet reigns since I only have 6 1/2 weeks to go (44 days to be exact...I'm so excited!). I'm a sweets lover, especially baked goods. Ususally I make my own (reducing fat and sugar, using whole wheat pastry flour), but do you all have any suggestions on sweet snacks that won't sabatoge my bod?

Hi Ladies,
Not a whole lot of posting go'in on today.I hope that means that everyone is busy working out!:)
I did powerstrike and legs & glutes.I think my arms will be sore from that one tomorrow.I have to admit that I am not a lover of kickboxing.I sweat but I never feel like I had a GREAT workout when I am finished.I guess I am just so use to jumping around all of the time.
Eating as been really good today.I would say 95% clean.I had a couple pieces of a bar and 2 candy(thats good for me).I feel so much better when I don't eat junk and I wonder why I don't eat cleaner more ofter.
Anyway I may check back later.
Lori:)

Hello everyone!

Going to do L&G- got a later start than usual. Got Imax2/C&W today and am going to preview it later after my w/o. I've been putting in an interval w/o (CTX Steps and Intervals) each week to shake things up a bit more and I've been hearing such great things about IMAX2 and how *fun* C&W is. My legs and arms have gotten more definition since I started with Cathe so I' very happy with that and I've noticed my fitness level has improved alot as well.

Sabine- sorry you have laryngitis- I've had it in the past when my sinuses did the same thing and it's no fun, I know! I, too think I would have taken today off but you know your body and what you can handle. Hope it clears up for you soon. BTW, Allie did have a way to put a smile on my face when I've worked out with her.

Lisa- glad to hear you're enjoying Winsor Pilates. It looks very interesting and Pilates is tough- the movements are deliberate and slow at times and you really have to focus alot of your attention on the movement and engaging your core.

Cid- don't have any recs for the sweet tooth- I tend to have one, too. I focus on increasing my whole foods intake each day and will allow myself a cookie here or there. Sounds like you and DH are pretty active- an 18 mi bike ride- that's great!

Hellos to everyone else!

Elizabeth
