Hello ladies, good morning to all of you. I finally met Lisa yesterday.
We talked mostly about our kids, fitness, this forum, my knees
and a host of other things. It feels really good to match a face with a name and get to hug this lady I've been sharing rotations and thoughts with over the last several months.
Yesterday I finally finished my S&H rotation with the chest/back workout. So today should be lower body or cardio. But I have things lined up for today and I might not be able to get a workout in, which really doesn't bum me out so much since these knees are still taking it easy.
I tried something different with S&H chest yesterday and used a BB for presses instead of DB's. A 35-lb. BB was just the weight I needed. There are no 17.5-lb. DB's. I guess I could've used two 20's but that would've been pushing it. I have a nice sore in my chest today, which means the weight I used was just the right one. I also got to use heavier weight for deadlifts and wonder now if I should've gone heavier. I found 3 sets using a 40-lb. BB surprisingly easy. But then again, I didn't want to strain these knees...
