Good Morning Ladies:
I like Thursdays. Mainly because tommorrow is Friday.
Went to Kickboxing class last night and man did she kick my butt. She did alot more cardio off the bag - but I liked that. This instructor amazes me. On Monday and Wednesday she teaches a 5am-6am class and then comes back that evening and teaches 5:50pm-6:30pm. And she has a 40hr week job. I don't know how she does it. Oh and she teaches the 5am on Friday too!!! I wish I had her energy and I'm even younger than her. Tonight is the Body Bar class - I hope I can keep up. I had some trouble Tuesday - I think because I hadn't been there for a week. Eating is going well. I'm starving right now. I've got 2 hours until lunch. I've found that I get hungrier in the morning when I eat cereal and juice for breakfast and a snack at 10 then I do when I eat an english muffin and egg with juice. I hate to eat eggs every morning - I didn't think that eating that many eggs is good for you. Is this still true?

Hello all, I didn't get much sleep last night. Insomnia again... So today will be a light day. Probably yoga and core work.

Kim, I eat 4 egg whites almost every day. I eat it with a slice of low-fat or non-fat cheese (for flavor) and a good sprinkling of almonds, with a slice of whole wheat bread. Keeps me going for the next 3-4 hours. When you eat cereal and juice for breakfast, you're ingesting mostly carbs. That's why you're hungry again at 10. When you have an egg with your muffin, you're putting some protein in your body. Protein slows down digestion and keeps you from getting hungry longer.

Tough day ahead. Busy with things I wouldn't be doing on a "normal" day. Have a good day, everyone.

Good afternoon, everyone.

I mentioned yesterday that I might go home and do cardio after work. I did Step Blast through the end of combo 3, and then the stretch. I didn't think going into it that I was up for the blast, and I definitely felt that at the end. I guess I'm still getting back into this, from my long break. While I was in the middle of it, I didn't think I was pushing that hard, but I was pleasantly tired afterwards. I also did about 15 minutes of yoga before bed.

This morning I did a new workout (for me) that had gotten very good reviews on Amazon.com. It's called David Kirsch's Sound Mind Sound Body Ultimate Fitness Boot Camp. It only uses 3 lb weights, but it was pretty intense. There's not a lot of cardio, but all of the weight moves are compound, and there's no rest between exercises. I think it's a good workout. Best of all, it was only 45 minutes. I also did 15 minutes of abs from one of the Method DVDs.

Well, it's sunny here, and supposedly in the mid 60s. I think I'll go for a short walk outside to clear my head.

Quickly checking in.

Today did an older CIA I had received in a trade, 9807 hi/lo by Allison Boyd and Shannon Bohn. Was pretty fun although some of the music was a bit funky. Not super intense, a nice, solid, interesting workout. I'm really digging some of the older CIA's I've gotten thus far. Sometimes it's nice to have a break from Cathe.

The rain is starting and it's making me sleepy. So I'm off to either take a nap or make coffee.
