Good Morning Everyone,
Its a beautiful sunny morning here.I am hoping that the sun will be strong enough to melt some more snow!}( What a long winter!
I worked out yesterday but only for a short time.I wanted to workout before dinner but I was getting to hungry.I figured I would eat a light dinner and then work out.I had a chicken breast and 1/2 of a roll.I wanted to make a spinach salad but I was afraid that the spinach would make me bloated and gassy, so I didn't:) And I only got to workout for 40 min.When I am short on time I always do cardio.I am hoping to make up for what I missed yesterday today.I am planning on doing BC and runs in between.
No new car for me:) It wasn't a whole lot cheaper a month that what we are paying now so we figured that it was just as well to keep the one that is still under warantee.But now that we are on the topic I would like to have a new NEW car!

I have returned from vacation and am ready to start up again. My husband and I did a few workouts on our trip and also had a few extra rest days.
Today will be a circuit day.
 
Good Morning everyone!
Went to my body bar class last night and I could tell I hadn't been there in a week. WOW! Tonight is Kickboxing. I was in a really good mood when I walked into work this morning but then had an argument (that he started and didn't need to) with a guy here and now I am so crabby. Girls give me some advice to make this day better. It's only 8:30 I can't spend the rest of the day like this. I'm going to Weight Watcher meeting today. I don't have to weigh but I need to go for the motivation - plus I want to look at their cookbooks (Like I need another cookbook :) ) I hope everyone has a great day. It's suppossed to be in the 70's here today.
Lori: With all that snow melting we should probably send you a canoe so you can get around? :)

Hi Guys ,
Still here but still feeling crappy, warm soaks and heating pads are not helping at all. At the moment I'm in my bathrobe and freezing like crazy ...I hate aunt flo really I do . My body temp drops tremendosly and I can't stand it . Ok enuf ranting.

Oh just wanted to add that this morning I went shopping for some new jeans and found I'm a size smaller than expected but those darned jeans slip on and zip up fine but the darned waist was too darned big so I tried the next size down , still could zip them up and a bit snug around the hips these were the lowrise jeans but my gods the waist portion if you can call it that was still so big -ughh never did get any jeans. these were the levis lowrise bootcuts, any jeans that are waist friendly?

I did Living Arts PM yoga right before bed last night. I bet I haven't done that particulary tape in a couple of years; I was pleasantly surprised at how limber (for me) I was. I slept great last night. I need to do that tape more often.

This morning, I got up a little late, and then one of my kids wasn't feeling good. He got over it, but I had to lay down with him a few minutes to get him to relax, so my workout time was very limited. I had wanted to do some cardio and some pilates. I just did pilates on the ball, maybe I can squeeze in a short cardio workout before supper.

Lori, I'm glad to hear the snow is melting. Are you in the US, or Canada? I don't remember if I've seen you say where you live.

Shywolf, I haven't tried any of the low rise jeans. I have some Lee jeans and some Levi's, both the more traditional style, that fit me well in the waist. I think the Levi's are 550's, but I'm not positive.

Oh, I almost forgot. Michael got honorable mention for his Science Fair project. The awards were done by grade, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention awarded in each grade. Also, the ENT said that from the CT scan films, he was surprised that Michael had been treated for a sinus infection (he said he didn't see it), but then, when he looked in his nose, he said Michael has one now! So he's back on antibiotics. He also said that the headaches could be residual from the meningitis, or it could be teeth grinding/TMJ (although he didn't see wear on his teeth) or that he could have wheat sensitivity, and that we could try reducing or eliminating his wheat intake. I have to think on that one. I'm sure it's worth a try, but I feel like I want to research it more. Anyway, he's on the antibiotics for 3 weeks, and then he's supposed to get another CT scan and then go back. So, the saga continues...

Okay, on to business. Today I substituted Legs and Glutes for S&H Legs. I haven't done this workout in a while and boy, do I already feel it. I tacked on abs from S&H Bis and Tris for a workout that was just over an hour. Feel really good, although already mildly sore.

Welcome back Judy! Did you have fun on your trip?

Take care of yourself Shywolf. Bundle up nice and warm, have something warm and soothing to drink, and relax as much as you can. That TOM can be a real b*&ch can't it?

Kim, don't let that nasty co-worker get you down. Would it help to have a conversation with him to work things out? Or would it be best to simply have evil thoughts that involve his genitals and a cattle prod? Regardless of which way you go, hugs!

Thank you again for the welcome! I'll post now even though I don't workout until the pm. Last night was PUB and IMAX2 intervals 1-6. My legs felt like lead from PLB the night before and they're still sore! So is my upper body! Today will be straight cardio...possibly MIC or StepBlast+Hi/Lo from SJP. Probably the latter...I don't think I have MIC in me today. Changing from circuits for the past 3 months to strength is getting me already. I noticed my strength has really decreased, so hopefully by seperating the strength from the cardio will allow me to gain it back and kick up my metabolism.

Sorry about the argument you had, Kim. All I can think to say is don't live in his head.

TOM gets me the same way...I'm freezing and feel terrible. Sometimes sleeping it off works!

Jeans, hmmm...J Crew has different rises, and the Gap classic fit might work.

Thanks again for the welcome. It's a fun motivator to post your workouts...keeps me accountable!

Hello everyone, checkin' in late today. Did CTX-Kickbox, skipped the cool down and did PH-squats but with a stability ball between me and the wall the way my PT friend taught me. I used 2 10-lb. DB's. Fried my legs big time. Then I did the L&G ankle weight premix.

Ever since I stopped doing PLB and PS-Legs and just did floor work and the exercises my PT friend taught me, I noticed that my quads aren't as hard as they used to be. My legs are still toned though, which is a consolation, and so is my butt. But I miss my old workouts.

Lisa, I hope Michael feels better and congratulations to him, too.

I wish I could respond to everyone's posts, but I gotta run. Lots of packing to do.
