HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY !!!!!!!

I know I promised some personals earlier in the week but I’m still running the hamster wheel on a daily basis it seems. Also, DD’s MacBook is not working at the moment and had to be sent it in which means she’s using my laptop at home in the evenings so I’ve not been able to post then either. I’ve been fairly busy at work as well getting things organized and done ahead so when I transfer in 10 days to my new job the person taking my position won’t be totally in the dark. Yesterday I had to leave work early again to go to the dreaded GYN appt and whilst there, I was informed that I was out of date (or there was no record) of having a current DTaP shot (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis). Weeealll of course I had to get one and YEEEEOOWCH my arm hurts today! Dang, so now I have serious DOMS from my DTaP shot! Since this was such an unexpected ordeal for the POSH, a “reward” of stopping by the shopping outlets was in order right on the way home…lol. Scored some really great deals at the Liz Claiborne outlet and I was pleased to have gone down a pant size (still too big of size to broadcast on here but still...it was smaller). Alrighty I better going now as I must leave and drive down to the Rocklin campus for a meeting…..I’ve got 4 days off in a row off beginning tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be able to catch up some more with my Cheetah friends!

Honestly I AM thinking of ya’ll and would love to type a million responses but I just have no time right now… However, I must note I am soooo glad Mr. Jimmy boy is doing much better! Whew, dogs and kids are the most important right? (lol – in that order?..hee hee)

I've decided to pass on the yoga. Just not feelin' it and not in the mood to force it either. I plan to do it tmrw or saturday instead, I swear. ;)

Cathy: I have Core Synergy on tap for tmrw. If Sal is feeling better and it appears that our ski trip will be on for saturday, would it be prudent for me NOT to do Core Syn? I ask because it DOES have a tendency to leave me with lower body DOMS and I'm thinking that may NOT be something I want while learning how to ski!}( If this is the case then I will probably do cardio and yoga tmrw instead since I missed a cardio work out this week anyway.

Kristi: I bought my DH the mp3 car adapter one Christimas and he LOVES it! I swear he never listens to the radio anymore! LOL Sorry about the bruised hand but thankfully that's all that happened.

Christine: So what kind of cuisine is on the menu for tonight and tmrw night? :9 It's great to have a handy future-SIL (son in law) around isn't it!? ;) I'll let you know what I think of the 10 minute work outs. I haven't ordered yet but you know that I will...SOON!}( Question is...when will I find time to try them amidst my rotation!?!? :eek: :7

Carole: LOL about not liking DH being home sick unless you are at work. I think most women feel the same way!;) So how long did you put off the rest of your work out this morning?

Judy: Yeah, Core Syn is a challenge. Great work out. I really like it. :)

Jackie: No, I don't have any great DOMS from the ab wheel. I tried to do that BB move in Slo Mo and couldn't. My BB wouldn't roll on my rug though so I will try it with the ab wheel and see what happens. I'll keep you posted on the 10 minute work outs.

Posh: You are a crack up girl! I love the justification to stop at the outlets. A girl after my own heart. We really need to GTG and go shopping!!!!}(

I guess that catches me up for the time being.:)

So I have a back up plan just in case DH is sick and we can't go skiing on saturday...My BF is going to Atlantic City this weekend with the other gal I train so if DH is sick, I'll be heading down there from saturday to sunday. YEEHAW! DS will be taken care of either way as I am dropping him off at my MIL's tmrw evening in anticipation of skiing so why in the heck am I gonna sit home all weekend with a sick husband when I could be out whooping it up with the girls, right? :)
 
Afternoon and Happy Valentines!

Well, first I overslept BIG TIME! :( So, once the kids were on the bus I did Kelly's Step Kickboxing (vertical portion), then decided I didn't feel like stepping. I changed shoes and hopped on the treadmill for #22/20 (hills and steady). Oh my on running (jogging more like it) on a 13% grade! I definitely have some work to do. I stayed jogging until she said we could take the grade back down. When she started the cool down I put in 2 miles, but I stayed on for another quarter making 2.25 miles. I stretched and that was it. :( I'm still hoping to get GSL floor in, but want to get to Costco. I guess more snow is one the way. :( UGH!! Supposed to start around dinner time. We are supposed to take the family out for V-Day. I made the kids a choc chip heart cookie. Yum!

Posh ~ Way to go - going downa pants size!!!! :) :)

Lori ~ Way to go on 12 miles!!! How are the legs feeling! That stinks you have to work tonight! :(

Jackie ~ I normally don't like working out outside in this weather, but I'm getting cabin fever badly! :( Besides I don't want my legs to ever feel that sore again. I can't miss the stairs anymore. ha ha! Nice workout!

Christine ~ Mmmm, "Chocolate of the day"! LOL! Bummer about your bike. :( Yep, the sun is shining again today! :) It really does make a difference. Snow?!?! What snow!??! LOL!

Carole ~ That's some workout! Have fun! Thanks about the vanilla whey protein. :)

Kristi ~ Don't you hate when you do things like that? I have that device too. I think it's Monster something another. Big help, huh? I use it everyday. :) Have fun on your run? Be careful. ;-)

Wendy ~ Well you sound back to normal! Bummer about your dh and on V-day. :( There's so much junk going around. Love to hear your reviews of the 10 minute workouts. :)

Judy ~ Well, yoga will be out for me now. :( The chiro said I should not do it right now. I was having some neck issues again over the weekend. He got in there good after my adjustment. It's pretty tender today. :( Dang, if I wasn't so clutsy I wouldn't be having these problems now. :( UGH! ha ha about the private school and opening your wallet. Have fun tonight!

Sunny ~ I will definitely look into the TT workouts. You got me on "time" part! ;-) Yep, started studying Tuesday night. I wait until I get the kids to bed. That was my normal reading time anyway. WHere are you jetting off to? I missed that! Have fun!

Shelly ~ Gosh, you sure have to go through a lot for this move. :( Have fun on your run!

Cathy ~ I had my two crazy friends bugging me to go. Believe you me - I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for them. LOL! What's your plan today?

Jackie** My knee doesn't hurt and Imax 3 was a lot kinder on it, if you can beleive that! LOL My ankles use to hurt when I did alot of stepping and my knees would hurt when I would do alot of running. Haven't had probs with my ankles in a while though.Hope your having a good evening!

Wendy** Hope DH is feeling better. You know how sucky men are when they are sick while us women, still do everything! I could probably run a HM, just none to sign up for around here!

Kristi** What a sweet DH you have! We weren't going to exchange but whadya know...I got a gc for $50 at the Spa,and 3 magazines. I needed workout clothes...but oh well:)

Christine** I like eating as expensive restaurants every now and then, of course, not everyone can afford it ALL the time..then it wouldn't be special would it? Hope you enjoy tomorrow night with your friends. When is your next weigh in? You have been doing so well!

Jackie** That fullness feeling was so weird yesterday. I have never yet been full from eating breakfast! I didn't burn it off cause I didn't want to eat after my workout either.! LOL

Dallas** Hate it when I can't figure out what workout I want to do and don't want to do anything! That drives me insane! Atleast you got a workout in!

Just got home and have read the posts but pardon me for not doing personals...It's been a long day & the couch is calling my name! :)

But I did want to say to Wendy :: my advice is don't do Core Syn. If you *do* get to ski on Saturday, you will get a plenty-intense workout learning the slopes.
