BFL - Tuesday - 6/24

Good morning everyone!

Lower body pyramid complete. Think I'll do the pyramids again this week. they gave me some great DOMS last week.

Eating is clean - love this time of year for fresh fruit, salads and grilling. Morningstar veggie patties have become a staple for my morning protein.

Now to shower and head off to work. Today, DH will be shuttling DS to robotics camp and DD to swimming.

Hope you all have a sweaty workout and a clean eating day!

Just jumped off the elliptical - no Coach Sean today -- just jammed out to some music.

I agree Sherry the pyramids give the best DOMS!

Gotta run -- I'll try to do some personals when I get to work.

My workout today is cardio and abbs! 30min dog walk,30mins on the TM(may do itread 13,or maybe even some CC,or may just walk outside:+) will also come back and do the abbs from PUB and PH!

Hey is anybody watching that new show on ABC called Wipeout tonight then after that is 'I made it through the chinese game show' which i think will be hilarious;-) I'll be watching it!

Morning Sherry, Michelle, Amelia and everyone!
Great workouts done and planned! This morning I ran 6+ miles using Cardio Coach Press Play (I needed that little extra motivation today!) ;)

My heartrate was through the roof a couple of times so I had to lower the intensity a bit. I'm so glad I only have two days left on these meds... Hopefully I can give my speed repeats more effort on Thursday.

Sunday was a bike ride of 8.7miles.
Monday I did iTread #24 60min run and MIS abs

Today I plan on Power Hour after work.

Sherry: I was thinking the same thing about the pyramids! I got upper and lower DOMS from this! :)
How is your DH doing with his workouts these days? Is he keeping up with you? ;)

Amelia-I've DVRing Wipeout tonight. I was laughing so hard just at the commercials. I'm also currently watching The Mole and love it.

Kathy-awesome workout, as usual. How's the poison??? I didn't comment the other day when you mentioned the RT and possible not going. THAT IS NOT ALLOWED! Poison ivy or NO poison ivy, GO!!!! :)

Sherry-I agree.....the Pyramids ROCK for DOMS!!! Great job!

The DOMS report: I'm a bit disappointed. lol I do feel it, though, in the backs of my shoulders. Must work harder (or heavier) next time! ;)

Hi, Michelle!!! How's your mini 6 week challenge going? I'm on fire and feel AWESOME!!!

This morning's workout was LIC cardio blast premix, with the blast only premix added on. Then Core Max 3 with the med and stability balls. I've got LB weights tomorrow and I think I'm going to do a BFL workout.

Do any of you have Amy Bento's Slow Mo Strength Challenge? I'm thinking of giving it a shot next week for a change.

OK...kids are off to Rec. I've got about 2.5 hours to get some things done before I head out to pick them all up (I'm carpooling my friend's 3 kids also). Then this afternoon it's our usual Tuesday neighborhood swim gathering.

DS's baseball team lost their play off game last night, so we're officially DONE with the regular team now. SO's team won their game, so they have one final Championship game tonight, which we'll go watch. Our travelling team starts playing this weekend with our first tournament. (shhhhhhhhhhh....I'm secretly getting tired of baseball, but I won't tell DS that). Anyway, I warmed DS up last night before his game to test his shoulder and he did and felt AWESOME! So I, his new self-proclaimed sports agent, 'allowed' him to pitch. After the 2nd inning he said he was starting to get a tiny twinge in his shoulder, so I pulled him. But it's a good sign that rest, ice, stretch and therapy actually WORKS! LOL

ANYWAY...sorry to ramble. Must get some things done now.

Hi ladies!! Nice workouts completed so far...^^^^5's to all of you. I, however, did not get up on time this morning. I had CCV2 on my rotation for this morning. The only good thing is that now I have to do it tonight and I have more time to do a longer one...}( Maybe 5 or 7...

Sporting some nice DOMS from CTX UB last night. Lovin' it! I'm definetly going to have to that one more often.

WIPEOUT looks like a riot! I forgot it was on tonight. Thanks for the reminder Amelia!!

Meals for today:

M#1: w/w english muffin w/1T natural pb
M#2: salad w/1 can white tuna & 1/2 c black beans (love this combo!)
M#3: 2 cups fruit (strawberries/cantaloupe/watermelon) & 1/2 c 1% cottage cheese

That's all I've got planned so far...
 
Good Afternoon,

Well, I never did my UB workout yesterday. Too tired. So today
I made up for it by doing PUB and LowMax 4-7 intervals. The weight work was fine but the cardio about killed me.

I'm hoping to hear back from my doctor this week with some results. I know one test takes 3 weeks to get back, they send it to CA to the same lab for consistent results. I don't want any bad results, but I almost hope it is something just to explain why I have been feeling so crappy for so long. I need to try to build up my cardio endurance between now and the road trip so I won't be gasping for air and freak everyone out.

Sherry - Great job on clean eating. I'm trying to eat clean but I think I'm craving food since I'm so tired all the time.

Heidi - Do you ride indoors or outdoors? My DD and I have been peddling around the neighborhood in the evenings. I would love to get a trainer stand or whatever they are called for my bike and use it indoors.

Amelia - I haven't heard of Wipeout. I'll have to check it out.

Kathy - How is the poison ivy? Look for an email from me about the hotel info;-)

Gayle - Sorry to hear your baseball season is over. It seems to become part of your social life. I've been there and done all that with my boys years ago. They are older now, but I seem to miss seeing everyone practically every day.

Hello to you all,

Carolyn: I hope all goes well for you. One way or the other they will find what is dragging you down.
I bike outside because I am still waiting to get my stationary bike for my BD or Christmas. ;) We have a great neighborhood with lots of hills and back roads. This way I can get in a really great workout and not be so far from home that I can’t make it back if I am not feeling well.
Nice job on PUB and tacking on LM as well. You ought to have been wiped out from all of this! I would be too! LM is tough but fun at the same time.

Gayle: Nice job this morning! Maybe you do need to change things up a little on the weights. I myself have been getting DOMS because my workouts haven’t been as consistent as they should be.
Good luck to your SO’s son’s team tonight! Glad that you are on top of your sons shoulder and being careful to not let him over do it.

Hi Belinda: How are things going with your DD? I hope that you get in your workout later today. Have fun!

Hi Melissa: Yeah! More DOMS huh? Have fun with your cardio tonight! I prefer longer cardio workouts as well.

I have been dragging big time all day. I didn’t sleep well at all last night. I went to work and came back and crashed. My DS is having similar problems sleeping. I think it might be too humid for us at night.
I will try to get in my planned workout in a bit.

Hey girls,finished my workout earlier today....except i didn't get to pub abbs but i will do it tonight!

my meals

2eggs+2pcs wwtoast with light butter
shaved chicken sandwich w/ALOT of lettuce on top and some baked lays
turkey bacon,lettuce tomato sammy with light mayo
two ww torillas,southwestern chicken with salsa,bell pepper and lots of other veggies
100 calorie popcorn and a C.F diet pepsi }(

Heidi ugh,the humidity will drag you down so much...i remember last summer when we had 100degree temps and just driving around in my no air conditioned car made it just unbareable...so tired at the end of the day! How was your workout?

Kathy-yay,two more days and no more meds,are you still itching like crazy?

Hey guys. I"m just here to say that I'm proud that I made it thru our 2nd neighborhood weekly gathering without eating even a NIBBLE! NOTHING! And there were plenty of options....cupcakes with frosting, banana cake with frosting, a HUGE pizza loaded with cheese, rice krispie treats, chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips, and fruit salad. I brought my homemade applesauce muffins (which are gone because everybody loved them) and I took along a banana for my afternoon snack. I was happy with my banana. I WAS tempted by the fruit salad, but I realized I wasn't hungry, that I didn't NEED it, rather I wanted it....so I dished out the last serving and gave it to the lady next to me! NOT A NIBBLE besided my banana. Came home and had a grilled chicken low carb wrap with steamed veggies. I'm satisified with another successful clean-eating day! YEAH!

Time to get out the door soon for the last OFFICIAL baseball game of the regular season!
