BFL Tuesday 1/22

I'm here Michelle! I couldn't post this morning because I was at home. ;-) Got a late start!!!

I have so much more free time when I'm working...:7
 
Michelle-yes, I was sort of kidding with the question about logging your time/distance. I kind of figured you would be J

Belinda-I LOVE L&G. When do you have leg day next???

Carolyn-yeah, SHOCK….I’m sure my body is wondering what in the world I’ve done to it now! LOL Great workout with that 50 for back! WOW! Keep us posted on how you like this rotation, ok??? (and I have DOMS too, LOVE IT)

Heidi-glad you liked the ‘reverse’ PLB. Both sections are killer, and I can never figure out which segment in that workout gives my hammies such awesome DOMS! Sometimes I think it’s the deadlifts, then other times I think it’s those roll-ins on the ball! And you’ll LOVE the iTread 26. It ISSSS FUN!

Melissa-I was actually thinking of YOU last night while trying to decide if I wanted that cheeseburger! LOL Notice I said, “thinking of you”….not “blaming you”. LOL

I forgot to tell you guys that I made the EFL Turkey Meatloaf on Sunday and it was a HIT with everybody! My older DS actually had 2 nice-sized slices and my friend and her DH LOVED it! We're having the leftovers for dinner tonight!

Speaking of food, here's my menu for today, for accountability reasons:

M1: Myoplex Lite Shake
M2: 3 egg quiches, 1 slice w/w toast
M3: 4 small protein pancakes
M4: (planned) Pouch of tuna on tossed greens, 5 baked lo carb tortillsa
M5: (planned) Turkey Meatloaf, steamed carrots
M6: (planned) Apple and 2 (ONLY 2) string cheese

One of my newest goals for this week is to be done with my meals by 8:30pm. Nighttime is when I find the pantry calling my name and considering what happened yesterday, I don't want to fall into the 'all or nothing' mentality for this week.

Oh Gayle, I appreciate your not blaming me!!! As good as that burger was, I have it seared in my brain how I felt after eating it and even the day after I ate it. It'll be awhile before I want to do that again!!

Hey, how was the Turkey Black Bean Chili??? I did not get around to making the EFL Turkey Meatloaf. The past 2 Sundays have been very hectic and cutting into my cooking time in a MAJOR way. This Sunday, though, I'm doing nuttin' but cooking so I'll put that meatloaf on my list for sure. And some more Beef & Barley soup...:9 .

Okay ladies, stop all this talk about burgers (before I want one, lol!) Ugh, I made a batch of EFL Tuna Casserole this weekend and brought some into work for lunch. I put it in the microwave to heat and PEUUUW it stunk up the place to high heaven! I think my co-workers weren’t very happy. }( Guess I’ll have to make a batch of Taco meat (for salads) tonight. ;)

Yes, same here on I only have to look at the person in the mirror to know who to blame for not eating properly.

Ok...it looks like quite a few of you are going to try out my PLB switch....I will be back tomorrow to let you know if DOMS are better or worse than usual. ;-) I have a feeling that the switch gave my legs a good stretch out doing it this way.

Oh, and ladies, my bikini picture on week one is a clear indicator of whose to blame for my not eating properly!!! I actually finally got the nerve to print it and stick it in my journal. I try to avoid looking at it, but it's quite a motivator on the days that I don't want to workout. I might have to start bringing it to restaraunts with me.

Maybe I should print a smaller one, laminate it, and put it on my keychain!!!!x(
 
Back for my last post of the day.

A couple of unexpected things came up when I got home tonight. Prior to this challenge, I would have easily used it as an excuse to not workout. NOT TONIGHT!! It's almost 9:00 and I just got finished with my workout. I was determined to get it in and I DID!!

I didn't end up doing Imax 2 blasts. Instead, I did Step Blast w/u, challenges 1,2,3 and then 2 again, cool down & stretch. Now, you know what I'm going to say...IT WAS A BLAST!!! All kidding aside, I feel great.

I had to skip a meal today too because it took me 2 hours to eat meal #3...x(!

Off to get a snack! Talk to you tomorrow...
