I am up and shouldn't be! So here I sit with my coffee looking to see if anyone else is up this early.

My DS is having a friend over this afternoon and maybe over night. I will be trying to get the housework done before he comes and some cooking.

Good morning!

I'm still in a funk. I didn't workout last night because we had the neighbor dogs over to celebrate our pup's first birthday (kid's idea). At least I ate clean! I know I need to bed earlier in order to wake up earlier, but I stayed up reading Sense & Sensibility. I had checked out Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife from the library, but the first CD was all scratched up. I wonder what people to do these discs to get that way. I'm very much still in a Jane Austen mood.

Heidi - My you are up early! Enjoy your workout. How much did you and your mom get at Linens & Things? I still keep holding out for a better deal. If I keep holding out, maybe the good stuff will be gone, which is ok since I don't really need anything. Oh, and gerat movie selections. It's been such a long time since I saw Tootsie.

Carolyn - Awful story! I'm so glad it wasn't your DS. I would have been so anxious until I knew he was ok. As for the basement, it's also vinyl tile over concrete. I need to go get some puzzle mats.

Amelia - Hope your internship gets straightened out soon. I was looking over WSFL. Wow! It's intense. I also wonder how hungry one gets on the plan. It's not a lot to eat.

Belinda - Great job on your workout last night. I'll post pics once I remember how to get them posted on Picture Trail. Enjoy your shopping!

Michelle - I agree that the a.m. workouts are the only thing that work. I just need to get to bed so I wake up!

Sherry-i was thinking the same thing about WSFL...i just couldn't do it and continue working out with Cathe. There is now way i would have the stregnth? My hats off to those that are doing it...tough stuff.

Heidi-have fun with legs and glutes today...ive got to do that one tommorrow,well the floor work on it;-)

Carolyn-im bidding on supersets right now on ebay...im not winning but maybe i can jump in at the last minute}(

Wow, you can tell it is summer - I think we are all sleeping in -- or on vactions! I'll be on vacation next week AND sleeping in! :)

Okay, my eating was great yesterday! I'm just going to take it day by day. The kids have junk food around since it is summer - which makes it tough. Last night my DS was eating some Pringles -- and they didn't even look good to me! My gosh the kid is skin and bones - wish I still had the metabolism!

Thanks for bringing up Supersets - I love that workout!

Tootsie -- I haven't watched that in ages! May have to rent that one!

We rented the Bucket List the other day -- loved it.

Hang in there ladies -- it is only Tuesday!

Michelle-im with you on taking the eating day by day...actually for me its meal by meal,LOL! this will be my fourth day of eating somewhat clean:) Youve got more will power than i do about all the summer junk food...i quit buying it because I would end up eating it in my weak momentsx(. My kids understand(or they can deal with it,LOL)

Hi everyone!
I'm on "vacation" this week but it's a working vacation. DH and I are still working on the backyard (which has now grown into a full fledge "project", ugh!) We're not only getting a shed and making my Zen garden but now we've added a 24' round above ground pool and tiki hut (with a table inside and bar stools on the edges) to the mix. Lots of work, but I'm excited!

I was out front this morning finally putting my edge stone up along my flower beds (a left over project from last year, lol). I'm half way done and on lunch break. I'm *sneaking* a quick post during lunch (before DH catches me loafing!)

Yesterday I did Power Hour and a 20 minute interval hill walk on the treadmill. Today I ran 6+ miles on the treadmill using CC Press Play. I hit 8 mph on the last challege...woohoo! That's the fastest "treadmill" speed I've hit since my surgery. I'm getting over the mental fear about my knee finally. My goal is to hit 8.5 next time. :)

I'll try to check in later and do personals (if I can sneak away from DH). }(

Hi girls,

I am having a bad day! My dishwasher is finally up and running! Yah! While I was loading up my new dishwasher, my doorbell made a very funny sound! It got so bad it gave me a headache! So I called our builder and he sent someone out to check out the noise (which I didn’t know it was my doorbell!) LOL! I thought it was my alarm system! He told me he would show up in one hour! Three hours past and I was wondering way no one showed up! My DH called(from Germany) our builder just to find out , he isn’t coming until tomorrow morning! DUH! I gave him my phone number! HALLO! Did they ever hear about calling someone back? I am so mad I am sitting here and waiting! And to top things of I have a headache! I could be done with my workout by now! Sorry ,I had to get my frustration of my chest!

Off to my workout!
