Good morning ladies. Crazy day is over and Thursday marks the beginning of relaxing for me and the kids. We LIVE for Thursdays! Survivor is on at night, and I start my spin class tonight, which I'm VERY EXCITED about!

I have to be quick. I'm going into the school early to do School Store for the 4th graders, and I have to be out the door in 5 minutes.

THis morning's workout was HIIT. I did another iTread. I think on Tuesday I said I did 13, but it was actually 19. This morning WAS iTread 13, 30 minutes, sprints. I liked 19 better, but 13 was good also. I just jacked the numbers up BEYOND the runner's speeds to hit my high points. THAT felt great!

BBL sometime, PROMISE!

Good Morning :)

How is everyone - Hope you all had a great night!!

D4 and still clean .. I can't believe I am doing it! :)

Great workout Gayle! Your rip those Treadmill workouts up!

Today is HIIT for me. I will hit the gym at lunch time today.
Yesterday was PLB, not as bad of DOMS as I thought I would have. Maybe they will come later!

Take Care,

Hi and Good Morning Everyone!:)

I hope everyone had a restful night.

Jennifer: Good job in keeping with you BFL eating plan. What are your plans for HIIT today?

For lower body I have found that I usually don't start to feel it until the second day. Add in that treadmill workout today and you will be feeling it tomorrow!

I did LB on Mon and iTread. So on Tues when I was doing another iTread workout my RT hamstring started to tighten up 1/2 way through. I stuck it out until the end and did some good stretching afterward.
Today I decided I better give the treadmill a rest and do LIC instead. This way I won't aggravate my hamstring too many days in a row.

Gayle: I still have to try out some other iTread workouts but the #19 sounds great. What do you like most about this one? The music or the way that the program is arranged?

Today I am going to see if I can transfer the outdoor iTread to my MP3...this is going to be a test out to see if it can handle a 60min program or not. If it doesn't workout I guess I will add this to my christmas wish list.

Jill: Glad to hear from you. So sorry about Hero. This will be a hard time for all of you. I will be thinking of you.
I hope your hike this weekend helps to rejuvenate your body and mind along with that yoga. Take Care and best wishes to you and your family.

Well, I guess it is that time for my workout. Check-In Later! :7

Hey!

I am starting to think the same thing w/ DOMS on the LB. I was fine this morning, but as the day progresses, I am slowly feeling it :)

Off to the gym in about 1hr..Going to hit the Treadmill, Try to beat my 1.82 miles . Maybe I can get past 6.4/mph for my HIIT.

Hi,

Just checking-in again to say that I did it! I finished my LIC workout and loved every minute of it!:) :) :)
This was just what I needed to break it up from running on the treadmill so many days in a row.

Jennifer: Have a good run!

Now...for that shower and my lunch. My stomach is growling at me for food. :D

Oops! I made a mistake and checked out another forum and found out that there was another set of fantastic Cathe DVD series coming out! STS! Sounds Awesome! Oh, Boy...will be keeping my eye on the release of this series for sure.}(

Hi Heidi~

Sounds like you had a awesome workout. I don't have LIC, but I heard it was GREAT :)
Had a great run. This time around I did 1-min walking(4.2mph) w/ 1-min sprint - increasing the mph each sprint. I got up to 6.9 mph, putting in 1.84 miles...only .2 from Tuesday :( I guess it will increase over time.
Is this considered HIIT? They have some great interval workouts in Muscle Fitness Her's, I was checking them out last night.

Off to eat my Turkey Burger, rice, and veggies .. :) YUM!

Had a nice BFL LB workout this morning and came into work in a great mood…ha that didn’t last long. We have one VP who can be witchy and she’s been on a roll the last 3 days. I can let most things roll off my shoulders, but today hit the end of my rope. Had to shut my door and give a quick cry…but I’m good to go now. My boss recently got a promotion and is now running 4 hospitals instead of 1. I got about 80 new hours of work added to my job duties and it’s a wee bit STRESSFUL these days. Good time for me to get focused on clean eating and working out to get rid of the stress. Oh also did some abs this morning. Had to after my free meal last night with 2 Apple Smirnoffs…boy is my tummy bloated!

Jill: I’m so sorry. It’s never easy saying goodbye. Altho on the other hand, letting them go is the biggest gift of love we can give them. You are very brave to be able to do this.

Jennifer: Great job on being clean!!

Heidi: Hope the hamstring is ok! Injuries are no fun.

Gayle: How fun, a spin class. I’ve always wanted to try one, but I guess that would mean also joining a gym again and actually GOING.

Hello girls,
It was HIIT for me today also.Glad it is all over with.Iam very hormonal and everything seems to to be irritating me. I really hope all of you are having a superb day and I will get with you all later.
Veronika

Hi to you all,

Just checking back to see what is happening with you all tonight.

Veronika: Ouch! Those hormones are really a pain. Feel better soon.:)

Jennifer: Your doing great! Keep up the good work in your HIIT. Everytime you push the envelope or speed have you, you will get in more mileage and faster at the same time. Don't over do it though! Speed and more miles comes with time and practice. ;-)

Colleen: I hope things get better soon for you at work. This is a horrible time right now for the lack of quality nursing aides. Every nurse I know is totally overwhelmed with their jobs. There just isn't enough new students interested in heading into this field. Shortages are everywhere! There should be more advance training for students starting in High School. This is where it all starts. You get a young student volunteering and learning at the sametime. These credits should go towards college. It is unfortunate that this system revoles around money. I can't even get into this subject because it will lead me to the current administration which is stealing everyones hard earned money for some made up war....See I told you!
IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE!

Sorry... x( You can see where I am coming from.

Anyway, I am glad to hear that you are sticking with your workouts all the same.
Thank you for your get well wishes. My hamstring luckily isn't injured yet. This is why I changed my routine a bit to lay off running and do some other type of cardio. This worked and my hamstring didn't hurt on bit or feel tight today at all. Phew!

Love being here with you all. :7

Have a good night and do the best you can.

I just had this discussion the other night, with a friend, about NURSES! I said that it's the NURSES who do all the work. It's the NURSES who take care of the patient AND the family! During DH's illness, if I wanted to know ANYTHING, I knew I could ask ANY of the nurses on that floor and they would be completely honest with me. In the end, it was a NURSE who explained to me DH's deteriorating state once the vent was on. It was the NURSE who comforted me (us), held my hand, EXPLAINED it all to me.

OH.....now you've gotten ME started.

NURSES ROCK!!!!

OK...just a quickie post (beside the above rant).

I'm headed to Spin Class in just an hour and I'm SOOO EXCITED! I'm a bit nervous, since I don't know what to expect except a good ol' sweaty workout! I'll let you all know how I like it (rather, LOVE IT).

Gayle
