Michele-that’s a cute story about DD!

Melissa-tell DD that I’ll come from my house to buy gas from HER! lol As for Dave’s….my face is the only place I haven’t tried it out yet. You’re braver than I am! 

Liann-how do you like the JumpSnap? I looked at that when there was an active posting going on! GREAT! I have a big account balance at Amazon because of reward certificates I have….maybe I’ll just have to shop now! LOL

Hello,

Just peeking in...

Just got home from the orthodontist with DS. He is not a happy camper! The lower braces are the worst for him.:-(

Stephanie: Glad that you enjoyed that iTread! It sounds great. Today is the day I get to pick 3 Free iTreads.

Any suggestions people? Easy miles or long runs?

Melissa: I am with Gayle on the $1 a tank deal. LOVE IT! Your DD is adorable and so thoughtful.

Michelle: That story had me laughing. SOOOO cute! Makes me miss having really young children. They come up with the funniest things.

Kathy: Enjoy you rest days. You will be good to go on Sunday.
I can't wait for the barbell to come in. My DS's are also looking forward to it.:)

I haven't done my workout yet. But I will get to it shortly. I have to rest first! After waiting at the docs office for 1.5hrs I am exhausted.

I will BBL Heidi Hello to Carolyn, Liann and Sue and anyone I might have missed.:+

Gayle - When I first got it and pulled it out, I though "hmmm, not so sure I'm going to like this..." I tried a few jumps and felt like a clutzo trying to get the foam ball on the short little rope to go around in nice circles - I'm coordinated with the right hand, not so much with the left. The video gave a few tips though and I realized I didn't have to be perfect with it since there's no rope to trip over! It's all about "pretending" and going through the jumping rope motion which the handles do make you do. After doing 8 minutes of the beginner DVD, I was a believer. I also think it could be a major shoulder workout because once you add those weights to the handles, you can really feel the burn in your shoulders. I just need to get some of the more advanced jump rope workouts I've seen on Amazon. Oh, and if you read any reviews that complain about the ball whacking you in the hand/wrist, ignore it. The balls on the end used to be made out of plastic, but now they are plastic covered in thick foam, so they fixed that problem.

No tan on my face yet! I'm kind of relieved to be honest. That was a little risky putting it on for the first time then coming to work.

Gayle & Heidi - DD wouldn't make much money and probably wouldn't be in business for very long, but I bet she'd have the most popular gas station around!!

Gayle & Liann - am I going to "need" a Bosu Ball for Tracy's CoreBlast? Because I don't have one, but have been looking for an excuse to buy one. So help a sista out and say YES!!;-)

Liann---I'm trying very hard NOT to buy it! LOL

Melissa---sorry, but my HONEST answer is that NO, you do NOT need a Bosu...I don't have one and just used my bench/step!

Oh yes Melissa, you ABSOLUTELY need a Bosu for the routine! ;) The Get up/Get Downs just wouldn't be the same without it and doing the push-up walk overs with a step wouldn't be as challenging as trying to walk your hands over the Bosu. ;)

Of course if you didn't want the Bosu, I could tell you that all of those moves are shown using different pieces of equipment, but I'll stay quiet on that! ;)

Aside from that particular routine, I just love my BOSU!!! I hop on it, sit on it to put my shoes on, use it under my pull up bar to hop up and do negatives, etc.... I rarely actually use it in a video workout but have found so many other fun uses for it. :)

Gayle & Liann - LOL. For some reason, I KNEW that Gayle would say that I didn't need it and that Liann would say that I do need it!

Actually, my birthday is at the end of the month, so I think I'll drop some hints to DH..;)

Howdy!! Just posting my workout. CC#1 done. This is the 2nd time I've done this workout and I like it even more the 2nd time around. I really gave it my all and focused. It was awesome! I'm looking forward to trying out CC#2 on Saturday.

I'm still unsure about whether or not to try for the August RT. Why am I so indecisive?!?!?! Ugh!

C-ya tomorrow!

Melissa - You'd better try!!! I'll be glued to my computer all morning with my credit card in hand!

I had hoped to do Coreblast again tonight, but DH wasn't feeling very good, so we are going to do it tomorrow. I did 10 minutes with the Jumpsnap - which is about all I can handle at the moment and then I did a nice Ravi/Ana yoga routine for back pain. My lower left back has been giving me some problems this week - right around the hip. My entire pelvic area is tilted to the right to make up for the fact that my right leg is an inch shorter than the left (nice, huh?). So, I strain the left side pretty easy since it is already being "pulled" to the right. My chiropractor gave me a heel lift to wear in my right shoe, but it makes me limp and makes my shoes not fit right. It's a real pain. Not sure if any of you are old enough to have watch Little House on the Prairie, but sometimes I feel like that poor girl that they had to nail a block of wood to her shoe so she could walk right...
