Hi all!

Quick post - no workout yet - moving stuff out of the garage before the plumber gets here - have a shower drain leaking, evident by the puddle on the floor below. I think this counts as the Upper Body workout, but I am going to try to get it in before I leave this afternoon for camping with the Girl Scouts until Sunday.

4 days and counting for me as well. Today will be day 5.

OK, my workout is done. GS Legs. Another goodie! I used a 65 and 70# BB for the squats and deadlifts. 15 DBs for all the lunges. Add on the floor work, and I could barely stand up when I was done! LOL Awesome!

Tomorrow is cardio, and I'm leaning toward kickbox. Cardio Kicks, most likely! I like to add in KB with weighted gloves in the weeks when I only have UB weights once.

What's the plan for today folks?
SO's DS is coming over this morning for the day. Then DS has basketball practice and a baseball game. I'm meeting with my principal to get some PTA things approved, and that's it. THE WEEKEND'S HERE!!!

Sherry: Oh No! What a pain when something like this happens! Believe me I know seeing as I had a similar plumbing problem about a month ago. I hope that it gets fixed before you have to leave for the Girl Scout camping weekend!

Awesome job on your eating-clean!!!:) I went grocery shopping yesterday and picked fresh fruits and veggies for light supper salads. When it is hot and humid I don't feel like cooking or eating for that matter.

I hope that you have a good weekend with the girls!

Hi Belinda: Great job not cutting your workout last night!:) I am so glad that your DD is enjoying the Cathe workouts! I ended up just working around the yard and doing house stuff yesterday. If I sat for any length of time my legs wouldn't move when I went to stand again! Boy oh Boy are they tight!!!

Well I guess today will be an easy day. Body Fusion here I come! Maybe if I feel better after that I will tack on something else.;-)

Wow,high fives to Sherry and Gayle for there clean eating!!!! You guys are inspiring me to clean it up!

Heidi-oh man i LOVE body fusion...the first time i did that workout i was so unbeleivable sore i couln't walk the next day. I was so loving it:+! Did you tack on something else!

OMGosh i almost forgot to tell you guys...ive decided to put the school thing on hold for a while,maybe a year or two because the only reason i enrolled was because i wasn't getting any job offers through sending out my resumes....but now that ive got a great opportunity with the pediatricians office...why break my neck going to school right now?

oh,and my workout today will be a thirty minute doggie walkie and a circuit,like a HSC or HST or the other one:+ BBL

Thanks for asking, Amelia. I almost forgot to update you on DS. The PT did her evaluation and in just about 100% certain there are no rips, tears, separations, etc. His biggest problems are 2 things. 1...his posture STINKS! LOL Shoulders rolled forward, etc. Although that is NOT what's causing his shoulder problem right now, it will in about 5 years after his body adapts to being hunched over so much. So she wants me to constantly remind him to stand straight (more than I already do, lol). 2...He throws baseball SOOOOOO much (at home, year round, and during the seasons) that he is TOO flexible in his throwing arm. He goes way beyong the 'normal' 90 degrees, all the way to 112 degrees. Yet on other stretches, like reaching behind him to scratch his back or do the overhead tricep stretch, his LEFT arm is more flexible than his right. So, BOTTOM LIKE is that we're going to work on evening him out! LOL Tighten him up in some areas with weight workouts and loosen him up in other areas with specific stretches.

Follow all that? LOL

Heidi**I am glad I did KM last night! I have two more days on my rotation! I will take a week recovery this time! I am kinda burned out from heavy lifting! Enjoy BF today!

Hi,

Just checking in with my workout finished! Phew!

I did Body Fusion with 8” step and 5# weights. I did tack on PS abs. My abs are still sore from the other day so this was extra hard!

Amelia: Enjoy your PW and HST or HSC. I got a good sweat from BF!

Gayle: I am glad to hear that your DS’s shoulder isn’t injured! That’s a big relief I am sure! Hopefully with a little extra work your son will have a stronger upper back to keep from rounding forward. This is going to take a conscious effort on his part to stop doing this while standing or especially sitting at a desk in school.

Hi Belinda: Workout is done and feeling a little looser today. Did your DD get up this morning for her workout? Have a great workout! Those abs from PS are really great too! I used the Ab Hits DVD this morning. The PS workout is #7 on the Main Menu. It got in there good!

Hi everyone!

We just got back from seeing Kung Fu Panda. It was really good. One of DD's friends came along. They had fun. I even passed on the popcorn & candy...YAY!!

I think I need to do a circuit tonight. I'm thinking either LIC or Cardio & Weights. I need something fun!

Good job passing on that movie food! Glad that your DD had fun at the movies with you and her friend.

We started watching The Rise of the Silver Surfer last night and everyone agreed that it was terrible. So we called it an early night. We may finish it this evening...maybe.;)

LIC is my ultimate favorite!

Just finished helping DS re-make his bunk bed. That is a workout! I feel like a monkey hanging on the second bunk trying to get the bottom sheet on! Well...back to more housework before the weekend rush.

Hi Belinda! Your son is still sleeping!? I guess mine aren't the only ones that sleep in late! I had to wake DS around 11am before he wasted the whole day!

Good Afternoon,

I was up early and did S/H tri's and Bi's. Then had to shower and be out the door by 9:00 for my DD's tennis match clear across town. It took almost an hour to get there. She won but the rest of the team lost. I enjoyed lifting early in the morning before breakfast. I have a hard time doing cardio early before eating anything. Feels like I'm going to hurl.

DD's comforter came today. It is really cute. We are off the home depot to try and match paint.

I'll do my best to check in over the weekend. I'm super busy on Saturday with my tennis match in the am then dinner at my DS's girlfriends parents house. It seems weird that they invited us for dinner. My son and his gf are only 16, but have been together 15 months.

Hey girls:) im not exactly sure WHAT workout i did today,LOL i started with HSC and after the second cyle i said 'the heck with this hard stuff" then i started doing some UB on my own then jumped on the TM for a thirty minute run interval:+ VERY weird workout,i didn't like hsc,as a matter of fact i just listed it on amazon,LOL}(


ok girls,im tired and hungry so im scooting outa here,sorry about the lack personals:-( but i will bb bright and early in the morning:)
 
Hi everyone! Back to report that I think I'm finally out of my FUNK!!!! And I think it was LIC that did it. It's been so long since I've done that workout and I forgot how much fun it is. I repeated the cardio leg section in segment three. The one where you balance on one leg. My buns are already sore...}(

Also wanted to post my meals. I have to start doing that more regularly. I've become a slacker...;( ;-)

M#1: two slices whole wheat toast w/1T natural pb & 1 cup skim milk
M#2: 1 cup spaghetti w/ 3oz grilled chicken & sauteed brocolli, orange peppers, yellow zucchini, green beans & 1/2 c can diced tomato (the spaghetti & grilled chicken were leftovers from this week. I just sauteed the veggies, then threw in the pasta, chicken and tomatoes for the last 5 minutes. It was DELISH!)
M#3: small banana & 1T pb
M#4: 3oz pork chop & grilled veggies
M#5: 1 scoop vanilla BSN, 1 c thawed frozen strawberries, 1 c water & ice all mixed in blender
