BFL - Sunday 10/12

Morning!
Wow, I can't believe I'm the first on this morning (Belinda must be super busy with her family reunions....yay!)

I finally got my last long run in yesterday.....20 miles. It went pretty well because I ran super slow (12:30 mile per hour so it took me a little over 4 hours to finish). I think I'll do a BFL upper body workout today and give my legs a rest.

Other than that it's homework, housework, and I think DD and SIL are coming over later. What are everyone else's plans?

Hey Kathy! Wow,awesome job on your 20 mile run....i can't even imagine running for that long! Thats just amazing! High fives!

As for me....Today I will attempt my first weight workout in over three weeks:eek: my back hasn't given me any sign that its not ready! I also want to do a cardio so that means a circuit! So,its either LIC,C&W or the BM2 premix that is like a circuit...forget the name! Can't wait to sweat it out with Cathe:eek::eek::eek:

Hey Kathy! Good morning to you! Wow, 20 miles! I could never do that unless it was in a car! So, you finished with your long runs until the race...2 more weeks! Enjoy your day!

I have ss and church, lunch at the in-laws (consisting of fried fatty foods!) I try and eat BEFORE going over there and then get small portions of veges (which are loaded with butter, etc.) But, it's fun hanging out with the nieces and nephews! Then the Panthers are playing the Bucs...should be a tough game! That's all I have planned...Sunday is always a rest day for me!

Oh, Melissa, I read you were tiring of oatmeal? I found a recipe in Oxygen...I think I will try it too!

Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
1 cup water
1/2 cup canned pure pumpkin
1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie seasoning
2 tbsp Stevia

1. In a small pot, bring water to boil
2. Stir in pumpkin and remove from heat; turn heat to low
3. Stir in oats and put pot back on burner, gradually increasing heat to medium low - reduce heat if it begins to bubble or splatter
4. Cook for 7 minutes until oats are cooked and fluffy
5. Stir in cinnamon, pumpkin pie seasoning and Stevia.
6. Eat! (I added that one!);)

Calories: 110
Fat: 2g
Cholesterol:0
Sodium: 5mg
Carbs:23g
Fiber: 6g
Sugars: 2g
Protein: 4g
Iron: 2mg

Hey Amelia! Posting at the same time! How was work yesterday? I am so happy to hear your back is better! It was wise of you to chill until you healed! Watch your form and good luck! :D

I'm sitting here enjoying some freshly-made egg white pancakes. Kiddos wanted pancakes, and so did I but I didn't want the junk-loaded ones so I made a batch of these and am eating them eau naturale! lol

The corn maze yesterday was SOOOOOOO fun! It was hug. We were in there for an hour and 45 minutes. We joked when we were done that I should have worn my Garmin to track our distance! LOL

Today's plans are in the air. I definitely want to do apple picking since we didn't get to it yesterday, so that's at noon. Then I think we'll go to the amuesement parks for some roller coasters. Nothing fancy, just some Fall Fun!

I'm taking today's Rest Day and enjoying some SOME relaxed eating. Nothing overboard. I'm journalling everything that enters my mouth.

ok....kids are getting on each others' nerves!

OH!!!!!!!!! I've been meaning to ask you guys if any of you have tried hte new PB2 Chocolate Peanut Butter? I'm going to order some today. I LOVE the original PB2, so add chocolate to it and it can't be all that bad, right?

Good morning ladies!

Steph - I saw that oatmeal recipe in the Oxygen magazine yesterday. I think I'm going to try it. I have to go to the grocery store today...AGAIN...so I'll pick up the ingredients. There are only 3 of us and I'm always at the grocery store!! Mostly for my food though, so I guess I can't complain....

Gayle - glad you had fun at the corn maze. Sounds awesome. Have fun at the amusement park today.

Okay, I just finished my scrambled egg whites and two pieces of ww toast w/1T natural pb. Not bad, but I am getting sick of the eggs. The pb toast I could eat every morning though. I love pb.

Have a great day everyone. I've got Imax2 on the brain for the past couple of days so I think I'll do that later on today. I need something fun!
 
I just got off the phone with my sister and she wants me to come over thursday and hang out with her and gracie(my niece)....she also wants to order pizza so if i plan on having a productive wieghtloss week(lol) i need to be good for the most part:p

My DH says im just obsessed with everything that goes in my mouth...well,DUH:rolleyes: And speaking of my DH, he doesn't even try to lose weight and he drops 16lbs in over two months:eek: and ya know what he said about it? "mmmmm,im down 16lbs" then takes a shower,LOL. I think I would break out into an happy dance and call EVERYBODY I know;)

My workout is done and I feel AWESOME:DDid that abb workout by prevention...it was fun! Then I did C&W...im dripping wet right now so off to the shower then its finishing up my laundry!
