Good morning! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I have a workout space in the basement now! Worked down there lots this weekend cleaning things up, and I now have a usable space. Seems it took DH working out with me to get him motivated. I'll take it! LOL
The down side is that last night I then proceeded to watch the other half of Pride & Prejudice, which was until nearly midnight, so there was no way I could get up this a.m. I'll need to get the weights in this evening. So now off to make a berry protein smoothie, and then out the door for work.

Wow Sherry, Where is everyone? I bet a lot of people are on vacation.
It's hard for me to post on the weekend when DH is home. I had another 3 hour grueling tennis match on Saturday. We finally did win!! Also did a lot of work around the house,

Strange story: My older DS and his GF went to Six Flags on Saturday. I was nervous about letting him drive b/c it's an hour away.My DH didn't want him to go at all b/c of all the thugs that can hang around there. They made it and had a great time. Around 2:00 I tried to call him to check in and got no answer. Around 5:00 my DH called me frantic b/c he had just heard on the news radio that a teenage boy was killed (decapitated) on a ride. Panic set in b/c I hadn't tt to him yet. I finally tt my DS and he was in line for this ride (Batman) when this kid got killed. This boy apparently had lost his hat on this ride and decided to climb 2 8ft fences and a wall into a restricted area under the ride to retrieve his hat. WEll, this is an upside down twisty rollercoaster that comes down low to the ground and it hit him in the head and decapitated him. Can you imagine? He was there with a church group from SC and his parents were chapperones! It is just so sad.

Sherry - How exciting on your workout area. Are you going to put down a floor or anything? I just have vinyl tiles over concrete. A little rough on the knees sometimes.

I think I will do LIC today and wait for July's rotation tomorrow.

Hello and Good Morning to you all,

Sherry: I too am pretty exhausted today. I have been staying up way too late these past couple days and it has caught up to me big time!
This weekend has been really busy with family and friends staying over. I took my Mom out yesterday morning to Linen N Things and then out to lunch. We had a great time.
Wow that is great your DH is really getting into his workouts and helping to make a special place down cellar for you both. Enjoy your workout later.

Carolyn: Nice job on your tennis match! You must have had a pretty competitive group that day.
I was feeling pretty hot because it is muggy here today…but now with that chilling story I am freezing! That is just terrible! What a waste of life over a material object. The parents must be devastated.
Have fun with LIC later…I may join you when my DS heads off to his friends.

Hey ladies –

It's been kind of quiet here today -- so thought I'd jump in! Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. The summer is getting the best of me. Trying to keep the kids busy and entertained while still working is tough. At least I’ve got an awesome baby-sitter to come to the house! I’ve been doing on average 4 workouts a week – however, I need to bump that back up to 6 a week. THAT was when I was really getting the results I wanted.

The AM workouts are the only thing that works for me. It is so funny because last night I was in bed BEFORE the kids. It was so much easier when they had to go to bed at 8:30 during school!! Now they don’t understand why I need to go bed!

I really thought I was going to get into the NROLFW – but Cathe (especially PUB/PLB) is still who I fall back to – just like an old friend I guess!

I think the key is finding what you like and sticking with it. I love reading your posts – such as Kathy’s cardio workouts. Wow, I’m so amazed! I wish someone could just turn on a switch and make me love cardio. Coach Sean tries --- I do my elliptical with him – but I still can’t wait to be done!

I think that is why BFL is so PERFECT for me. Three 20 minute cardio sessions a week. To me, that is doable!

Okay, I’m shooting for a six workouts this week! Bring it on!

finished my workout...did MM UB premix then a dogwalk. My arms are so tired too,i was putting away some dishes and i dropped a pan because my arms gave out:eek: it hit a glass and broke itx(

Heidi-Sounds like you had a nice visit with your family! What movies have you been watching lately? I finally finished Gone W/the wind last night! I watched 27 dresses over the weekend and thought it was a cute movie,probably wouldn't watch it agian though;-)

Well i called about my internship this morning and the man that handles interns asked me to call back thursday,thats when the nurse practitioner comes back from her vacation(the lady that interviewed me) so im still waiting to start thatx:)-(! I was hoping to start today:-( Very frustrating

I did my workout.

iTread #12 45min. I did this as a PW because I just didn't have the strength to run today. I feel like I am walking with lead legs.

Amelia: Great job on your workout! But then again too bad about the dishes getting broken! :eek:
I hope that you get going soon on your internship.:)

The latest movie that we watched was Tootsie,Stardust and What Women Want. All of these were choosen by DH! I guess he was in the mood for romance comedies.;-) The kids were laughing so hard watching Tootsie. :7

Time to head out to pick up DS from his friends house.

Hi Michelle!!! Great job with sticking with your exercises! I will be right there with you trying to get in at least 6 workouts this week!:)

Heidi** great job on iTread #12 today! Since last week I am also very exhausted! Maybe it’s stress? I am so excited when DH comes on July 19! I am flying back to Germany the beginning of August! I am shopping like a crazy person! I bought 2 dresses yesterday!
