Hi and Good Morning to you,

Just getting things rolling this morning.

Have you checked out the Forum under Open Discussion for "12lbs?..." I happened to see this when checking in first thing.
If you are looking to increase your weights without jumping a full
2-3lbs you need to check this out. Go to: http://paceweights.com/products/index.htm
This is a great way to slowly increase your weights! :7

Well, I will be planning my routine shortly...BBL

Good morning, Heidi! I will check out that link next! Thanks for pointing it out!

Well, Free Day was fun, but I really don't like eating all that food! lol YUCKY feeling in my mouth this morning when I woke up! YUCK! Makes me remember what it was like when EVERY day was free day! It wasn't all that bad, really. Throughout the day, I had a bagel with veggie cream cheese (bfast), a few small halloween cookies and a few peanut M&Ms, trail mix at my parents' house, the pot roast with all the veggies, then my Chex Mix last night which is what put me over the TOP! lol OH, and add in some of my son's favorite ice cream too. Tuck that all away as a bad memory until next Sunday! LOL

Today is my older son's 10TH BDay. His dinner of choice is Applebee's, so that will be easy for me. I'm planning on getting the tilapia with rice and veggies off the Weight Watchers menu. BFL-friendly!

This morning was upper body weight work. I started off with the GS push ups to warm up. I kicked out some heavy weights again. Before I even lifted the weights for my last and final set of shoulders, I said out loud, "now THIS is going to hurt". lol And it did! lol

OK...gotta get the kids rolling for the bus!

Heidi-I actually have a pair of plate mates myself! Each one is 1.25# and I LOVE THEM! They really do the job. They were a bit pricey, but I use them quite a bit, so they're already paid for! Sometimes, when just 1.25 isn't enough weight, I will wear my 1# weighted kickbox gloves AND use the plate mates, giving me an extra 2.25# total!

Hi Gayle,

Looks like I am going to order pacemates. They are in increments of .5 so I can make weight adjustments from .5 to 4.5 lbs.

I did my workout last night using the SH Tri & Bi. Did well with tri's using 15lbs,8's and 5's. For Bi's I used the 12,s and BB at 25lbs. Also included a trail run to get in that cardio I missed on Saturday. ;-)

Today is:
GS Chest,Back & Shoulders
LIC and abs from ME

Have housework to do and go to work. Busy Day!

BBL,

Good afternoon, ladies! I'm a little late checking in today; I've been doing the post-"free day" flush all morning! I've been drinking tons of water to get myself back on track, and I think my body is thanking me for it.

I looked at that link to the pacemates last night. I really like those. They look like they are really versatile.

Tonight is a cardio night for me. Not feeling very rested today, like I expected I would. Kind of feel like a cold might be coming on or something? I don't know. Maybe my body just needs a good workout. Keep your fingers crossed for me that that's all it is.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Hi Jennifer,

I think these pacemates are going to do the trick for alot of us trying to up our weights gradually.

I should probably be doing the same with the water thing. I didn't do very well this weekend with trying to eat clean. With the cheesecake on Sat. and Lobster and wine on Sun. I better be very good for the next couple of weeks!

Sorry to hear that your not feeling all that great today. Hopefully you are not coming down with anything. I felt like this yesterday and thought that maybe if I did some exercise it would help. It did and I had a great workout before dinner.

Today I managed to get in a warm-up and abs from ME. Then I did GS shoulders, back and chest. As I was doing the chest workout my DVD player decided it was time to quit. x( Again with this problem!
Guess its time to break down and get a real DVD/VHS player for the workout room. I put it on my wish list to my husband. ;-)

I think once you start your workout you will feel better. Have a great one!:7

Hi Heidi,

Sounds like we all took full advantage of our free day yesterday. Cheesecake and loster and wine sounds deeeelicious! I haven't had wine since I started this challenge.

I'm happy to report that I got my HIIT workout in and I'm feeling much better now. Tired, but better. I can't wait to hit the sack tonight.

Hope you're all having a nice evening.

Jennifer
