Jennifer-I have to agree with the Free Day comments. I really think that the Free Day does wonders for your body all around...mind and body.

Veronika-Hope you're feeling better today.

Heidi-hope the yearning for Ravenswood gets fulfilled SOON! LOL

OK...early post for me. Today is DS's 7th BDay so I wanted to get up earlier than normal. I worked out already (did LB and Stretch Max) and really hit the weights hard again today. My hamstrings are SINGING! LOL Then I wrapped a few presents. DS wants pancakes with sprinkles in them, so I'm off to get them started now. Tonight, his dinner of choise is Carrabba's Italian Grill. I'm planning on having a tossed salad, grilled salmon with some plain pasta (no sauce). I will either share the dish with my dad or take half home. I WILL NOT EAT THE WHOLE PLATE!

Last night was a victory for me! We had our Book Club meeting and I ate before I went. The ONLY thing I had there were 3 pieces of shrimp (plain) and tons of water! YEAH!

OK...off to make BDay pancakes. I'm not sure IF I'll be checking back in today...Wednesday is our crazy day, and add a BDay on top of that and you get a Hectic Gayle! LOL

OH!!!!!!! I got my shipment notice last night. I'm getting the new DVD TODAY!!!!!

Good Morning to All!

Gayle: Happy Birthday to your son!

Having one of those days where I just wake up plain exhausted. Got to bed too late and of course it is that TOM thing. I am not sure how my legs are going to hold up for the workout of the day. My legs already feel like spaghetti!

Ok, today's goal: Work on my ambition to work out. I know once I get moving I will feel a lot better.

Food:
Breakfast Burrito
water
Need extra coffee this morning!
;-)

Workout:
PLB (think this will be easier because it is at a slower pace)
Abs
3.5 mi walk around the neighborhood

Have to get son to school. Have a good morning everyone.

Good Morning Gayle and Heidi,

It is 7:45 a.m. and Gayle has already worked out.SO very impressive. Happy Birthday to your son Gayle.I have a son who will turn 7 in December. I have another son who has a b-day at the end of this month. What grade is your son in? My 7 year old is in first. Carraba's is a great choice for dinner. We don't have one here in MIdland yet.We are about to open a Cracker Barrel just to let you know where we are. Enjoy the rest of the day and you have made good food choices for dinner.

Heidi- I need to find my ambition to work out also. I still don't feel good but maybe later on I will and will just get my leg workout in. Right now I am in need of coffee.A breakfast Burrito sounds good this morning.

I have to get my son ready for school also. MY DH took the other two to school this morning with him. He is a tutor at the upper school and they attend the grammar school.Still I have to get out but it saves me on gas today.

Make it a great morning y'all.
Veronika

Well, hello, ladies!

Heidi-Tell TOM it's NOT his day. Tell 'him' to leave you alone...you have WORK to do! LOL

Veronika-Zach (my 7 yo) is in 1st also; and Jacob will be 10 on the 29th of this month as well!

OK...just a quick post. I'm headed to work/school. I stepped on my friend's scale (I clean for a friend of mine, who in turn pays me and lets me use her fancy schmancy digital scale, lol), and it read 144.2. That's a sigh of relief. Last week's huge loss, I was afriad, was a fluke or something. Then I worried about Sunday being a free DAY, but it's down .2 and THAT makes me a happy camper. I'll get Week 3's OFFICIAL weight this weekend.

Gotta run!

Here's my meal plan:

M1: egg whites (4) and ww lite toast
M2: salsa chicken wrap (my new fave)
M3: Myoplex Lite bar at work
M4: ham and pasta with veggies (leftovers)
M5: Carrabba's...and THIS is the real goal for my day: salad with balsamic vinegar, NO BREAD BOWL, grilled salmon and dry pasta (will only eat HALF of this at MOST). NO DESSERT!
M6: IF I'm still hungry, then a salsa chicken wrap

G'Morning Ladies ~

Feeling better now that I am starting to get those workouts in.
I am still not following the BFL eating 100%, but better than last week. I still have my "oops" in the morning... LOL :)

Last night was BBC Legs/Butt. WOW, Nadia, kicks your ass!!! In a good way of course. Slight DOMS, but nothing like the 1st time doing this DVD, I couldn't walk for days. :) I even finished the cardio portion also last night...I think it was alot better than Barry's... probably b/c it was a little easier ..
Tonight is Chest/Abs..BBC. & Cardio.

Thinking of getting a part-time job at Wawa ( yes, here I go again! ). My son just got employed their p/t and they were looking for additional p/t help on the weekends. I know they pay a little bit more than retail jobs, so I am going to meet w/ the manager tomorrow. My BF tells me NO. He doesn't want his GF to work at Wawa. He is one person that always worries about what people think of you. Ok, what is wrong w/ Wawa? NADA!!! I will let you know how it goes.
There is no way I can work nights and still take care of a house/kids. Plus, it would make to a miserable, JEN .. LOL :) Not good!!!

BBL-

Hi again,

Jennifer: I definelty feel better now that my workout is done!
I will have to try out Nadia's workout one of these times. Are you doing cardio everyday? Which cardio...treadmill or floor?
Good luck on your job interview! I hope you only get weekends because retail tends to put you in there anywhere.

Gayle: I told Tom to get lost and it worked. Thanks!:)

Veronika: Looking for some ambition? Put on your workout clothes then jump up and down a couple times and yell "Let's Go"! I got all excited and that was it. Had a good workout with PLB and added in SJP Abs and Planks. Feel Great!

Now get to it!

Now on to my shower and work.

Heidi,
Sometimes I do cardio everyday, but not always. I don't have a treadmill, so I opt for non-tread cardio. I always have a blast, it goes by so quick. Here I always thought I was in shape, but BBC kicks your ass everytime!!!

Sometimes I will go to the gym at lunch and hop on the Ellpitcal. Like today, I was going to go, but I forgot my work out clothes at home. (the gym is down the road from work). I can't do too much treadmill b/c of my knees, so If I do, do it, it's only power walking on a incline.

Good afternoon, everyone! Just checkin' in while I sit here eating my roasted chicken and broccoli for lunch. I love food....

Gayle, sounds like you have a wild day ahead of you. Your food choices for tonight sound good, and delicious to boot. I love getting salmon when I'm out for dinner, because it's not something I cook very often at home. The kids won't eat it, so why bother?

Heidi, hope your fatigue passes soon. I remember those days with dread. Fortunately, I had a hysterectomy eight years ago and don't have to deal with TOM anymore. :)

Veronika, are you feeling any better yet? Hope you're back to normal soon.

Jen, I just got BBC yesterday. Haven't even opened it yet. Everything I've read on these forums is kind of scaring me, to be honest. Maybe I'll dive into these at the end of the challenge.

Well, feeling pretty darn good. I wore smaller pants today! :7 Did a tough LBWO last night and feeling a wee bit tired, but that's okay. I'm pretty hungry today too. Keeping it in check, though. ;-)
Cardio is on for tonight. Maybe I'll reconsider and check out those BBC treadmill cardios I keep hearing about.

Chat with you all later.

Jennifer

Hey gals,
Jennifer- I am feeling better now, thank you. I am going to do as Heidi suggested and jump into them workout clothes, jump around a little, yell heehaw and get to it because I can not let that kind of inspiration just not do it for me. Thanks ladies, I'll be back after the workout.
