Good morning girls,

Thanks you guys! I will have a fantastic time in Italy! I will take lots of pictures! I do have room in my suitcase!

I have to take my dogs to the vet this morning, after the vet I will go to the gym for my LB workout! In the gym I can go heavy on the squat machine! LOL! I did PH abs first thing this morning!

Gayle** I did iTrain 19 for the first time yesterday! I really liked it! Thank you so much! Awesome job on iTread 13 and Boot Camp + abs 2 TIMES yesterday! How are your abs feeling today?

Carolyn** Garda Lake is breathtaking! I will take lots of pictures! I can’t figure out how to transfer my pictures from my computer to pituretrail! LOL!

Susan** which iTrains are you getting? I need to get more too! Hope you enjoyed your PUB and walk yesterday?}(

Kathy** WTG on your workout yesterday!

Sherry**I’m so sorry the toe is still bothering you! How did your walk go yesterday? I took my dogs for a very long walk (over 3 miles)! I was so tired after iTrain 19!

Hello all! Happy Hump Day!

Ok, this is quick. PLB for the day, but no lunges. I think I need to go heavier next time to make up for fewer exercises. My abs do have some DOMS from Coremax on this fine a.m.

A couple of nice things happened yesterday. First off, I stopped by Border’s on my way home and they had a nice sized food/exercise log for only $4 (bargain section), so I got it. So cool, because now I won’t have an excuse not to log my meals since I can take it everywhere with me. (That 3 ring binder I’ve been using just doesn’t work that way.) The second is that we had an awards ceremony for Girl Scouts last night, and all of the girls did head the suggestions and brought healthy food – fruits, veggies, smoothies (made freshly there), granola mix, and nuts (not peanut). How awesome is that. Oh, and someone I hadn’t seen lately said I looked thinner!

I did read all of the posts, but don’t have time to respond today.

Today is 4DS LIS plus shoulders/calves.

Anyone watch Biggest Loser. I would love to have gone to Australia with them! I was shocked that Kelly was ahead of Roger during the triathalon. Glad to see that Mark waited for Ali. Okay, these grown men need to get a grip!!!I have never seen so much crying by men on a tv show.I wonder how they will feel once the show is over and they see themselves blubbering every week. I thought it was funny when Mark called his wife and she asked if he was crying again. I hope Ali wins the whole thing.

Belinda-SOOO glad you liked 19. 13 and 19 are the ones I use most of the time when I want to get in a shorter speed workout! GREAT JOB! Oh, and with all of us getting helathier and thinner, you take up less space in suitcases! LOL

Sherry-sounds like a bunch of positive experiences for you and those around you! Great job on setting a good example (and for people seeing the work you're putting into YOU)!

Biggest Loser......yeah, those guys had me laughing all the while they're crying! LOL I was SOOOOOOOOO happy that one of the guys went again! I'm really pulling for the ladies! Let me tell you. I want Ali to win, but honestly, how much more weight does she have yet to lose, I mean she's 140 something. Kelly, on the other hand, if and I mean IF she really REALLY starts kicking it harder and changing what she's doing, SHE can really pull off a huge loss between the last weigh-in and the Finals. But Ali is still my favorite!

I still haven't worked out! After I came back form the vet I took a 2 hour nap! I usually don't nap! I think I am coming down with something! I am getting ready to hit the gym/ or work out at home after my lunch settled! It is only 1 pm here! I still have time to get a good workout in!

OK...sorry for the interruption! :)

My abs are soorrrreeeeee! DOMS in the abs....doesn't happen too often! The core work from the original Boot Camp and Muscle Endurance are some of my FAVES! Workout this morning was P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps. This is a week with one UB workout and I was going to do the BFL UBWO, but I love these X UB workouts, so I figured I'd do them again this week! I'll just find another time slot to do the Back & Biceps later this week.

Gotta get the kiddos ready. Then I'm off to clean my friend's house. Early dismissal for school again today, so I'll have time between cleaning and the bus to chat some!

Belinda, I was acutally just looking over the Itreads trying to figure out which to get first. I am NOT a runner, but I do walk fast. Are these workouts primarily for running?? Which would you suggest I get first? I want a challenge, but I just cant run..hurts my body.

I now have doms in upper and lower body...ouch. It feels good though. I plan to to an itread this morning if I can ever figure out which to get.

Not Belinda...but the iTreads are for walkers,joggers and runners of all speeds. This is what I like most about them. One day you can try out the jogger workout and the next do the walker workout. They will work you differently depending on which you choose.
I started out with Set 1...all of them. After that I was hooked!

My DH tried out the #6 20min. last night. He thought it was tough! But he liked it and was happy with the way it really pushed him.

A big calorie burner would be Sets #21 30min, #24 60min, #26 30min.

Heavy hill workout...#4 60min this has 2 sprints and steady pacing also.

Todays workout is PLB and abbs

I having on of 'those' days x( after one of 'those' nights x( . Just sad,depressed. I don't know why...TTOTM is around the corner an I always get like this. And after peeking at the scale this morning im really feeling like crap:-(. I haven't been bad as far as eating goes? It just doesn't seem to be moving very much lately??

I had a REALLY HARD time yesterday fighting a binge? Eversince my DH starting working nights its been so hard on me to deal with everyting. Its seems that i do twice as much work as I did before(when he worked a normal day..home around 3,now he leaves for work around 3x() I guess the most important thing is that I DID win the battle and not binge.
I will just take one day at a time!

I do have some good news though that i forgot to share on monday!!I can pull up and button a smaller size in my lovely Levi's(but still to tight/uncomfortable to wear;-)) so thats progress!:7 Slow progress(im trying to be positive x(;-))

Susan-I discovered that running isn't for me either! I love powerwalking though,i usualy just watch a movie while doing it...the time FLY'S by! I do have an itread...13 but only did it twice:-( Have fun with your workout:)

Belinda-How did your workout at the gym go? So on a normal day, you will workout then take your doggies on a walk? Ive heard walking can boost your metabolism,just plan old walking! Something about the steadiness of it.

Sorry to hear about your bad night you had.:-( I am sure that once you get in your workout you will feel a lot better. It makes a world of difference for me! Oh...I always feel bigger during this time as well...hate that water gain thing!!!

What a neat feeling to slip on an old pair of jeans and be able to button them! Can't beat that! See....all your hard work is paying off. :D Your doing great!

Amelia, I'm sorry you aren't feeling well today. Like Heidi said, get in your workout and you will feel better! A big high five on the jeans! Just think, clean eating and hard workouts for a week and those jeans will be a perfect fit! You go girl!

Gayle, great workout! I was thinking of getting them but decided to stick with STS. (you aren't helping when you talk about how great a workout P90 is! ;-) ) Have a great day!

Susan-Hiedi already answered the question about iTreads for walkers.

Amelia-my dear. HANG IN THERE! It really is hard to do all the work around the house, take care of the kids, do the errands, BY YOURSELF! What works for me is running a tight ship and being organized. Everything has its place and when you’re done with it, it goes right back to that place. Get the kids involved too. My kids know when they’re done eating, garbage goes in the trash and dishes go in the sink or the dishwasher. They undress for showers/baths….their clothes go directly in the hamper. They come in the house….shoes and jackets go directly in the hall closet. It takes patience and diligence, but once you get a system figured out, it runs smoothly! HANG IN THERE! You are not alone! STAY STRONG! Remember, if you start indulging and binging, will you REALLY feel BETTER? I don’t think so. You’ll just regret it. Stay strong. Then when you get thru the day, or the meal, or the HOUR, you WILL BE STRONGER!

Stephanie-hold out for STS. P90X is great, but keep a secret….I didn’t pay for it. SO bought it for himself (after we chatted about them for about a week), and being a gadget geek, he has special software that copied the workouts for me. So I have a set of my own. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! lol

Good morning everyone!

Stephanie - I'm sorry, I forgot to post that recipe for you. It's actually one that Gayle posted awhile back, but it seems to vary every time I make it! This is how I made it this week:

1lb ground chicken (this is the first time I've used chicken, usually I use turkey or 93% lean beef)
2 big cans of diced tomatoes
1 big can of black beans rinsed & drained
1 onion
1 pepper (any color)
1 package frozen corn (I love corn in my chili but you don't have to use it)
1/2 package McCormick original Chili seasoning
1/2 package McCormick hot chili seasoning

In a crock pot I combine all ingredients while the ground chicken is cooking in the frying pan. Once the chicken is done, just dump it in and let the whole thing cook. I cooked mine on the low setting and let it go pretty much all day on Sunday.

I was a little tired and not very motivated for a weight workout today so I did some fun cardio instead. }(

I just got the Firm Cardio Sculpting Balls set that I had pre-ordered from Amazon yesterday. It's a set that has two small 2 lb. soft balls with handles and the workouts are supposed to work abs.

I tried it out and....meh, not impressed. The moves seemed disjointed and the whole workout didn't flow right (but I've felt like that about all the new Firm workouts I've bought lately). Anyway, I like the cool little balls!!! I can probably use them for the Trish Muse Ab Attack workout I have coming from the swaps soon, lol. After that I felt like having a little fun so I pulled out LIS and did the step premix. :)

I'll do upperbody before my run tomorrow to make up for the switcheroo this morning. :)

Have a good one everybody, I'm at home today and plan on watching "Atonement" and "Hanibal Rising" this afternoon while I veg and have a nice quiet day. Woohoo.
