bbl

Hello and Goodmorning to you all,

Agh!!! A terrible week for me! I have been so busy with car issues that I have skipped most of my workouts. Eating...well that's another issue! I am looking forward to getting back on track this week.

Today's goal:
TM walk/run
PUB and abs

I will have to read back the last couple of days to see what you all have been up to.

Stephanie: Enjoy your rest day!

Sherry: Have a great race!!! Looking forward to your race story later. :)

Off to workout! BBL Heidi

Good Morning Stephanie,Heidi and all who follow!:)

Stephanie-have a nice,realaxing rest day...you deserve it!

Heidi-Great workout planned today! Im sending you back-on-track-vibes!

Todays workout is a long powerwalk and some abb work! Im thinking about taking cassie girl(our black lab) with me this time! Wish me luck because the last time i took her SHE walked ME,LOL:+ My DH has been working with her on the leash,so now she walks beside you instead of infront of you, pulling! And she has learned some command words! She is so strong though so agian, wish me luck,LOL!

Yesterdays workout was HST(I think i said i did HSC..oops;-)) but anyways just wanted to clear that up:)

The scale is back up today two lbs...stupid thing,i don't even know why i get on it anymore? I lost some inches last month and its still saying the same thing? And not to mention the 4%BF drop last month??? Those two things are enough to satisfy me! I think i will put it up again a WI only once a week! Its starting to aggravate me!;-)

So this is day 4 of healthy eating for me! YAY! im proud of myself;-) im not sure when i will give myself a cheat,i guess when i start feeling i need one! I know i will go atleast 7days(which will be this thursday,so maybe a cheat then)

OK,enough mummbleing;-) bbl gals!

Morning!
Stephanie – Enjoy your rest day!

Heidi – I hope your car issues work themselves out, I know how frustrating that can be! Enjoy your workout later.

Amelia – YAY! Four days of clean eating is GREAT! I think putting the scale weight in perspective is a great idea. Your clothes are fitting better, your bodyfat is down, and all the signs that you’re losing are there….just keep the faith that the scale will eventually follow. ;)

GO SHERRY! I can’t wait to hear how your 5k went this morning. I also hope that Gayle was able to walk the half today and the rain stayed at bay.

Hello to everyone else!

I ran 8 miles this morning outside on the path. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the birds were out in full force. I misplaced my heart rate monitor watch and it’s driving me CRAZY trying to find it. I remember using it for yesterday’s workout and then I took it off before I showered. Can’t figure it out, it’s not in any of my “usual” places. ARGH! I feel like a fish out of water without it, lol.

Kathy

Race done – 34:28 – not bad at all since I don’t consider myself anywhere near in race shape! Started off at 40 degrees and drizzling – sun came out about half way through, so made it a much happier finish. The hill that usually gets me on my runs got me again today. Does tell me that I really need to get the cardio going.

Stephanie – Thanks for the words of encouragement! Enjoy your rest day!

Heidi –I’m so sorry about the car issues. I know how frustrating it can be. And how that impacts eating – the story of my last week. I’m not looking forward to shopping for a new one for DH.

Amelia – Enjoy your powerwalk today, even with the pup. Takes a little time, but they catch on to walking. I’m ready to start running with ours.

GO GAYLE!

DS has another soccer game today. Yesterday’s was in the pouring rain. I watched from the car (DH was on the sidelines, I figured one parent was ok). Uniform is washed and dried, and ready to go.

Now off to review the kitchen to see what I need to buy to make this a clean week as I restart a challenge with Melissa.

Hope you all have a great day!

Kathy - You posted while I was writing. Great run this a.m. I hope you find you HRM. I remember when I thought all I needed to run was a pair of running shoes. Now it seems I need the shoes, the HRM, the MP3, cell phone, etc. Hope you find it quickly!

Good morning everyone!

Sherry - Congrats on your race this morning! LOL on reviewing the kitchen. I just came from there and my list is pretty substantial! As soon as I blow dry my hair, we are off to the grocery store. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Heidi - Sorry to hear that you've had a horrible week. You'll be back on track this week and feeling better in no time.

Amelia - I thought we threw those scales away?!?!;) Focus on the lost inches and body fat. You are doing GREAT!! HST is tough, huh? Sometimes I do just the cardio only and even though it's only like 15 minutes, it kicks by butt! Oh, and how can I forget: YAY on Day 4 of clean eating!!

Kathy - Sounds like you had an awesome run this morning. Hope you find your HRM watch soon!

Have a great day everyone! BBL

ETA: Hi Belinda! We were posting at the same time!!

Good (late) morning! I got to come into work late today and got some much needed sleep! Yay! :)

I did indeed do an interval workout last night after work and dinner...and a little nap. ;) I did 4 of the Imax2 intervals. Whoohoo! Love that one!

Sherry: Congrats on your race!! I think your time is fabulous!! ^5!

Stephanie: Enjoy your rest day!

Heidi: Good job getting yourself back on track. Car troubles can be incredibly stressful, hope it's fixed and working well now.

Amelia: Enjoy your walk with your lab! I used to have a lab who would walk with me...lots of good memories for me. Of course it took the dumb dog (I really mean that- he was so dumb! lol) a few weeks to learn how to walk on a leash. It can be done, though!!

Kathy: Whohooo for an 8 mile run!! ^5!

M1: 1/2 c cooked oatmeal, 1/2 banana, 1 T walnuts, 1 scoop protein powder, 1/2 c skim milk
M2: ham and red-fat swiss sandwich on light ww bread with mustard, homemade coleslaw with lowfat mayo and stevia

Hey to everybody,i will bbl with personals and thank you all for the kinds words of support for my eating! I stayed up kinda late last night and it took every inch of me to not stick one those brownies in my mouth:eek: but i did it:)

bbl:)

Heidi, sorry about your car issues! Are you looking at replacing it any time soon? I seem to remember you discussing it awhile back. Enjoy your workout!

Amelia, what a cute puppy dog! I'm glad she did well during the walk! I know how you feel when they lead (pull) you. You can definately get in a great shoulder workout! Congratulations on ANOTHER clean eating day! Kudos to you too for the late night craving! YOU BEAT IT!!! And Melissa's right, we had a THROW THOSE SCALES OUT party...didn't you get the memo? ;)

Kathy, I did the TM workout, the one I posted yesterday (or was it Friday?) I ran 7.0 MPH for 4 minutes! That is the longest I ever went at that speed! And you know what, as I was dying and thinking I can't make it another second, I thought of you! :7 And it worked! So thanks girl! Geez, I hope you find your HRM! Glad you enjoyed your run this morning!

Melissa, hope you enjoyed the store! What are you planning on making, anything new? I'm ready for a new recipe, hint, hint!

Sherry, awesome time! I thought of you right at 8:43am. I pictured you raring to go! So glad the weather cooperated too! What are you making for this weeks meals? I'm ready for a new recipe, hint, hint!

Belinda, are you in San Antonio yet? That's where you and DD are going, right? I hope things slow down for you soon! Maybe you can relax a little while you are away?

Connie, awesome workout last night! Those intervals are killers! Your meals look great again! What is stevia...I guess I could google it...opening another explorer window and types in stevia...oh cool! I've never heard of it before! What kind do you use? The liquid flavors look good. I wonder if it's available in the grocery store.

Oh, that's right! I forgot about Gayle walking the half marathon with her buds! GO GAYLE GO!!!

Hi,

Thanks girls for the cheering up! I did get in a TM workout this morning along with PUB pyramid up only. Then added in Ab hits #4 to really get my abs good. }(

Sherry: Awesome job on your run today!

Amelia: What a nice looking pup! Great job on avoiding those brownines last night as well. :) I agree...time to throw out my scale too! I jumped on it this morning after my workout and to my horror I went up 2#'s!!! I really need to get my butt kicked for slacking off this past week...or two!!!

Kathy: I hope you found your HRM! When you stop thinking about it, it will show up....this is how it goes for me. Nice job on your 8miles!

Has anyone heard from Gayle? I am wondering how here half is going. Hopefully she didn't get rained out.

Hi Belinda: I hope that you are having a better day. This whole week has just been one thing after the other. The truck is fixed and has a current inspection sticker. We needed to get one for the van but it failed because of an interal computer gliche. We have 60 days to get it re-tested. Hopefully this will be fixed and we can trade it in for a new car.

Hi Melissa: What are your meals for the week? I have to get my butt in gear and start making meals ahead again. I am so out of it lately!

Connie: Great job keeping your meals clean. Even better...getting in your workouts! Nice job on Imax 2!

Michelle: Do you have your workouts planned for this week? If so....I could use some inspiration!

Hello to Carolyn: I hope things have been going ok with you. I know that you are having quite a hectic time too. How is the deck coming along? I spent yesterday out shopping for more garden plants. Today DH planted them all. :) Every year we say the same thing...that we aren't going to go over board with the plants but every year we do anyway. :+ The garden is crowded again!

I hope if I missed anyone that you are doing ok. I will check-in again soon.
Heidi

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Sunday...

Did my grocery shopping this morning & I'm trying to plan my meals for the week, or at least through Wednesday. I am flying to Virginia on Tuesday morning for business and will be back on Wednesday afternoon. I'm trying to plan what I can bring to eat on both plane rides and for my breakfast's. I'm thinking some apples and almonds.

I made an Applesauce Banana bread so far but I think I'll hold off on making anything else until Wednesday. I also pre-cooked some sweet potatoes on the grill and grilled up some chicken.

Hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend.

"See" ya tomorrow!!
