Good morning girls,

How are you this morning? I got a good night sleep last night, I went to bed around 9 p.m.!:D:D I realy needed that sleep! I will do cardio today!

Good morning Belinda! What will your cardio be today? Glad you slept well! I see it's right at lunchtime for you...what's on the menu for today? I'm getting ready for breakfast! I made some flax apple muffins (if you want the recipe, let me know ;)) this weekend so I will probably have one of those and maybe a banana.

Just finished CC #3. I beat my mileage from the last time I did it so I'm pretty happy about that!

I am expecting a busy day at the office since we were closed yesterday. I hope everyone shows up! One of the gals has been out quite a bit lately so we'll see!

Stephanie - great job on CC # 3! Your flax apple muffins sounds yummy! Of cours, I want the recipe! I saw this morning that you liked the pizza recipe I posted! I am glad you liked it!:D Hope your day at the office isn't to crazy today!

Hi Steph: Way to go on CC #3! I too would like to have your recipe! I will be going food shopping later and need to stock up on clean-eating foods. I will be making several recipes from the fall Clean-Eating magazine ahead because I know that with school starting tomorrow it will be hectic.
Hopefully your day today won't be too bad. Why is the girl out so much? Is she sick?

Heidi – awesome job on BM this morning! I have to pull that one out, haven’t done that one in awhile! I also was waiting all morning for Cathe to post the Sep. rotation! Not sure if she posted one while I was shopping! I will check after I am done posting! Of course, shopping counts as a workout! My feet are killing me every time I shop! LOL!

How was everyone’s weekend? It went by way too fast for me! I did GS Chest/Triceps + abs on Saturday, a rest day on Sunday, ran 16 miles yesterday, and finally ran 2.5 miles this morning + Leaner Legs. I’m doing hi rep workouts this week so I’ll be using CTX.

Belinda – I’ll have to go back and get that pizza recipe!
Steph – I’d love to have the muffin recipe whenever you get the chance.
Heidi – I just got the new Clean Eating magazine in the mail a couple of days ago. I’ll have to sit down and read it this evening!

Heidi, great workout planned for you today! Hopefully by this evening the September rotation will be posted! Yeah, the girl is sick alot and she takes care of her elderly parents so shes out alot with them too. It makes it hard on me because I have to pick up her slack with the patients, so it's really like I am getting a workout all day long! I must walk 3-5 miles during working hours, no lie! I need to get a pedometer to see. School starts tomorrow! I hope you can stay on track with your workouts. Will you have to re-arrange your workout schedule? Let me know what recipes you try from the Clean-Eating magazine.

Kathy, welcome back! I have been reading your blog...never have time to post though! Your workouts, as usual, are outstanding! I liked your "inspirational" quotes and sayings from a couple days ago. I agree that running is hard and you really have to push yourself but when you finish and meet your goals the high lasts all day.

Okay, as promised here are the recipes!

Whole Wheat Flax'n Apple Muffins

1/4 cup Hodgson brand (or similar) Milled Flax seed
3/4 cup WW flour
3/4 cup white flour (I used all WW flour)
1/2 cup sugar (I used brown sugar)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 cups finely chopped apples
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk (I used soy milk)
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Blend dry ingredients together in bowl. In separate bowl, combine egg, oil and milk. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and stir just until blended. Fold in apples and nuts. Batter will be thivk. Fill well-greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes or until top springs back when touched.

[FONT=&quot]1 lb frozen boneless skinless chicken breast (do not thaw)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2 15oz cans rinsed black beans[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2 10oz cans drained diced tomatoes with green chilies[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]1 cup frozen corn[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Cilantro[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]FF sour Cream[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]In 3qt or larger slow-cooker, combine chicken, beans, tomatoes and corn. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Garnish with cilantro and sour cream.[/FONT]

I agree that this weekend went by way too fast!

Have to get mowing....yard work today. Going shopping later this afternoon as well. I am going to fit in my workout after DH comes home.
As far as the school schedule goes it will be really hectic early in the morning trying to get everyone in and out of the bathroom before 7am! After that it is clear sailing for me! I should be able to get in my workouts earlier now instead of around 10am. ;)
