Good morning. It's EARLY!!!!! I was up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. So I watched some infomercials and am now heading to the basement for today's workout! I'll be doing shoulders and ab work, in between cardio sessions on the treadmill.

Amelia: How are those legs today from GS standing legs?

I have had a terrible night! I was up most of the night from this stupid migraine that just won't quit! My meds aren't working either!

As for the car...I guess they just didn't want to work yesterday at the registry seeing as it was a three day weekend. They all had cookout plans on their minds! So it looks like I will be getting my car on tues. instead. No Biggie!

I hope that after I have this cup of coffee and more meds my head will have eased enough to get on that treadmill for an easy run. I know once I start I will feel better. It is just starting that's the problem!

Gayle-enjoy yout early morning workout! How much longer are you working out with your PT?

Heidi-Darn those car registry working people,darn them! Well,you've got tuesday to look forward too:) I hope you have a good workout,and your head eases enough for you to do so! I don't have any DOMS today,i hardly ever get them anymore:-(. My legs were aching last night though so i had to take some ibuphrophen. but no Doms to report yet!!!!

Today is suppose to be a rest day but im thinking about taking cassie for a walk(my doggie,LOL) She is waiting at the door right now,LOL so cute;-)

Everybody have a wonderful weekend!! There is no planned cookouts for me so thats a HUGE relief since im trying to watch what i eat! My cheat meal is either tuesday or wednesday when my sister comes over with my new snuggle bug:)(baby neice) Here is a new pic of her....

Good morning everyone!

I had trouble sleeping last night, too! Weird! I also had trouble waking up this morning! LOL But I did and I'm here at work for another fun-filled day. :p

I've got a 30 minute steady step workout planned for this evening after dinner, but I may change my mind and do a few intervals. We'll see how these aging knees and still sore from B&G thighs feel later. ;)

Heidi~ I'm sorry to hear about your migraine. I hope it's better now, and you get to enjoy your Saturday.

Plan for the day~

M1: wg lucky charms, skim milk, protein powder
M2: kashi bar and HB egg
M3: WW Smart ones Thai Chicken and rice noodles with salad topped with light Asian dressing
M4: lf cottage cheese and mixed berries
M5: beef and monterery jack quesadilla with steamed spinach
M6: sf vanilla pudding with protein powder and chocolate syrup

My workout this morning was great. I did the trainer's schedule workout, and I plan on finishing out the month trial with her. May as well. I paid for it, and it IS an awesome program she has set for me. So I'll finish out the next week or so with her. I'll decide later, what to do after that.

Here's my menu for today:
M1: Myoplex Lite, L-Glutamine (done)
M2: 1/2 grapefruit, 4 egg whites, 1 T organic natural peanut butter (eating that now)
M3: apple, whey protein shake
M4: grilled chicken, veggie, small baked sweet potato
M5: cottage cheese (maybe w/ blueberries)
M6: salmon, veggies, baked sweet potato or brown rice

I'm headed out in a bit, and won't be back online probably the rest of the day. First, I'm cleaning my friend's house. I missed this past week because of a crazy school week and they're away camping this weekend so I'll hit her house today. Then younger DS' baseball game, then older DS' basketball practice, then to SO's house for HIS DS' BDay party. Busy day, but all GOOD FUN stuff!

Connie - I was feeling a little "draggy" this morning myself. I had to talk my self into going downstairs and working out...and that's just not like me, lol. ;)

Well, I did MIS this morning and matched Cathe's weights (or went heavier like on legs). Man, I don't know what it is about this workout that makes me feel like I've been run over by a truck....a Cathe truck that is! :p

Hi to everyone! I'm heading out to work in the yard, it's a beautiful day here. My plan is to clean up the front yard (weeding, raking, edging) and then help DH in the back yard. We're clearing out and leveling a space for a shed. :)

Hi,

Just back from my TM PW with iTread #1 40min. I took 2 advil before the workout and feel a bit better.

Kathy: I wish I could do the same today with my DH in working in the yard. (he just asked me if I could come out...get a tan :) ) I have to hide from the sun because it is like daggers in my eyes. OUCH! He never gets headaches so he is clueless. He does feel for me though.
Darn I hate being sick! Today is also his 51st birthday! Maybe I should go back to bed for a short time so I can go out with him later this afternoon or something.
Enjoy your day in the sun! It is really beautiful here in MA too.

Gayle - you were up bright and early this morning! I've been meaning to ask you why your trainer recommends doing cardio, then weights, then cardio? Is there more benefit that way? Just curious...

Heidi - don't you love the registry?!?! I actually shouldn't complain, the past few times I've been there have been quick and easy. Sorry to hear that you won't get your car until Tuesday, though. I hope your migraine subsides soon!! Oh, and my DOMS was from just a freestyle kind of UB workout. It's different from what I normally do and I guess it worked!!

Had my hair done, cut & highlight, and splurged on a pedicure – so nice to have one to get “summer feet”. Also running several errands. Overall I think I’m getting back on track. Last week really wore me out.

Gayle – Did you buy anything while you watched the infomercials? Looks like you’re coming back around (I know it was tough earlier this week). Enjoy the games and the party!

Heidi – So sorry about the migraine. I hope you feel better later so that you can enjoy DH’s b-day. I’m sure next week will be better when you get your car.
