Hi Ladies!
Well, I went ahead and started last night. I was feeling so energetic after raking and bagging grass, that I put in CTX All Step while I was in the mood! But it didn't stop there! I ended up doing the step portion, shoulders and abs! I was sweating up a storm and loving it!
Maybe I should lay the weed guard in the shrubbery bed and cover it with mulch tonight and then go inside and workout. Seems to motivate me more! ;-)
Not sure what to do tonight though!

I would love to finish doing upper body work but it has been a while since I've done my legs and I really need to work out this lower body work with my runs. For the most part my cardio will be running - short runs on Thursdays, roughly 3 miles, long runs on Sundays, 5+. I definitely don't want to do any weight training the day before a long run, especially once I hit the 8 mile mark!
Kelley - I think I got the gist of what you're saying about the pyramid work. Do the first exercise BFL style and skip the second one, because she does combo moves right? It's hard for me to stay on track like that. I guess I can't concentrate enough, block her out, you know. I think I'm going to do videos one week and my own plan the next. We'll see!

I think the planned start date was set for 7-14. So we're really all starting together today.
Colleen - I'm not doing anything officially but I like the BFL method. It's very easy, very doable. I just have to work on increasing the calories. That's my biggest problem. I have a hard time calculating those calories too. I've tried Fitday and other methods but some foods that I eat just aren't there or they may be listed but not in the fashion that I cook it. So my counts are always low because I can never find the correct match.
Hmmmm, guess I could start cutting the food labels from the packaging, use a regular notebook to journal and then one Saturday when not much is going on, enter all the items in the Fitday customize section. Worth a shot, right?
Let me know! I''l check in later to see what everyone's doing!
