BFFM - week of October 24

How's everyone's week so far?

Anne-Mmmm! Cupcakes! I haven't had a cupcake in forever. Good luck with that!

TK-Have a great trip! Tell us all about it when you get back.

Vicky-I have an air popper for my popcorn. Don't have to worry about added stuff that way. I eat it on my high days for the carbs. I had to adjust it because I was waking up so swollen. I only eat it once a week now for my treat. It is my absolute favorite!

Susan-You really know your stuff. I read that too. I don't eat before I go to bed though. My stomach kills me if I do.

So far I have been doing good this week. Yesterday was a high day. Sunday I will weigh in. I haven't been doing that.

Yesterday was a rest day. Today I did GS Ch/Tri, Core Max 3, HST Cardio&Upper.

Anne - How did the cupcakes go?

TK - Have a safe trip. I'm sure you will do fine with eating and working out.

Vicky - I haven't had popcorn in about a month now. I usually get a big bucket at the movies. I know, I know, not good but I just love the stuff. Don't even mention the salt. So, you can guess how I'm feeling the next morning.

Susan - Thanks for that explanation on cottage cheese and peanut butter. I've never tried the two together. I'll have to give it a try.

I weighed and measured over the weekend. I lost another pound and about 1/2 inch. The muscles are showing nicely. I don't think I really need to lose any more weight. It's just so hard to keep those calories up eating really good for you stuff. I might try eating every 2 hours. Any suggestions?

Today's meal was 1601 calories - 18%F, 48%C, 32%P.

Workouts are going great. Yesterday I did ME Express and today was a 45 minute interval run and stretch.

You all seem to be doing a great job!!!

Well - the cupcakes were a huge hit at school for my son. He said everyone was raving about them... AND - I was SO good - I didnt even eat one - I didnt even lick my fingers when the frosting was all over... I came close a few times - but I held out! :)

I did get workouts in every day this week - and even twice on tuesday. I am finishing up 3 weeks of the October Rotation and now going to see what she posts for November and might do the Butts and Gutts one - I think I need one with more lower body emphasis...

Anyways.... Hope you all have a wonderful day and a great weekend!
 
Hi everyone. Its been way too long since I checked in. I'd really like to come back if you'll have me:). My fiancee's brother was killed in a car accident 3 weeks ago, and it has just been terrible. We went up to VA (drove from Mobile, AL, 16 hours) and stayed for a week. I got back on track pretty well once I got back, but I haven't felt like talking much about any of it. I hate doing this because I think these threads only work when people consistently support one another. I'd like to get back in the game of support here!

X, I saw your suggestion in another thread (I think you were referring to me:) ) about doing lower carb after 1:00 or so and I'm going to try it. It will involve veggies, low fat cheese, and mainly protein. I believe it will work!

Anne, I couldn't have helped with those cupcakes if I'd tried. Icing is just something I'll never expect myself to forgo (isn't that pathetic?). :eek:
