<---just had her life flash before her eyes and is still shaking
<---says that just a few minutes ago, her and her Dh were at a red light, when it turned green, we proceeded through it. As we were about halfway through, an SUV coming from our right decided to ignore the red light completely, and he came straight at us. I said, "watch out" and DH swerved like a mad man to the left and gunned it. The truck (couldn't tell if it was an SUV or a truck with a cab) missed up by inches and stopped square in the middle of the intersection. The driver must have been stunned because he stayed there quite a while before driving on. <--- guesses that he got distracted and totally missed seeing that there was a light because he came at us at full speed - didn't even attempt to stop until Dh had already swerved out of his way.
<---says the light didn't just turn red from yellow either, this guy totally buzzed through a red light. What made it even more scary is that it was raining and the roads were wet.
<---feels like she has a guardian angel, because at the speed he was coming at her, has no idea how we managed to not get hit
<---is sorry for the self centered post, but was freaking out a little

<---is soooo proud of her DH for handeling that car the way he did
<---says she often doesn't give him much credit for his driving "skills", but thinks he totally proved himself tonight
<---honestly feels like he saved <---'s life because she would have been creamed had that guy hit her and in the Grand Prix, doesn't think she would have fared well (shudders)
