<---is sooooo very sorry for Ame's sad news

therefore <--has been steeling self for the reality

<--has also concluded that even if <-- *never* achieves National Board cert, the process alone has been worth it
<--thinks Amy deserves MAJOR KUDOS for completing the program and believes she will pass...chin up, counselor!!!!!!...we're behind you!

<--just got back from a walk w/ baloo (AND THE STUPID SLING!!!x( )
<--could not resist being outside because it is sunny, cool, and not humid
<--felt bad that <--couldn't take all the pups, but needs both arms to do that!

<--had a great time last night seeing Catherine and meeting her sister.

<--offers hugs and encouragement to Amy, and knows that she will find the right answer for herself, but <--is secretly hoping that she will still be able to make the July RT, since <--will be there.

I’m “getting” to revisit my motivations for the entire “be an attorney” adventure. THAT part sucks, especially since I pretty much haven’t had my heart in it since the summer after first year… which would be three years ago. A lot has changed for me since I started in 2004 and when it comes down to it: I’m tired.
So, my current plan is to do regular everyday things and give myself a break—which means not taking the July bar that people will start studying for on Monday. If it gets to be December and I want to take the February 2009 exam, I will. If I don’t, I won’t. In the mean time, I’ll make some money (still new to me!) and figure out my basal rates; work on my physical self for a while.
So that’s the scoop.
<-- should explain that a basal rate is the rate at which <-- tell the pump to deliver insulin, and when they're off then <--'s blood sugar is off
<-- believes <--'s blood sugar has been off since school began...
<-- is overall just fine with not passing, despite it being a bit of a shock and now it just makes more work for <-- to explain the whole thing to everyone who cares :)
