Best workouts for hips/thighs?

First the good news! After doing Billy Blanks, The Firm, and now Cathe...I am a Cathe devotee for life! I have been doing your DVDs exclusively for a month now (I am 5'2", pear shaped, size 6), I have lost 1 1/2 inches in my waist and an inch in my arms! I am still the same weight (about 130 or so) but would like to lose maybe 5 pounds and tone up my hips and thighs!

What is best for this? Cardio, a mix of cardio and weights (what I have been doing) or more strength than cardio on a weekly basis?

I have read that when you have less weight to lose, it takes longer to see results. I feel great but would really like to tone up a bit more and drop those last 5 pounds! I have been this size since high school. Anyone that can give any pointers (Cathe included) :), I would be so grateful.

I'm looking forward to a reply on this too. I'm 4'9" and weigh around 105 to 110. Quite happy with my body overall, but like you, want tone my butt/hips thighs a little bit more.

Not Cathe, but just wanted to extend a big WELCOME to the boards and to make a suggestion. Cathe just posted her November Rotation and it specifically geared towards fat loss (sort of a pre-holiday "buffer";-) ). It doesn't look like you have all the videos in order to complete it "as is" but it looks like you have enough in order to make some substitutions and still be fine. The rotation two months ago was a "butts and guts" rotation that worked the legs hard so you might also check that out, but I can't seem to find a link to that, maybe someone else can help out. If not, I know I have a hard copy of it my workout binder.

here is that rotation. i missed some of the abs so i just put in abs where cathe had an ab day. i believe it was from the ab hits dvd but since i don't have it i just wrote abs to know to do ab work that day. everything else is how cathe posted it.
