Hi Cathe,

You are truly the best fitness instructor in the world. Not only do you teach perfect technique and posture... you are also inspiring. The exercises in your workouts are well organised and you cue better than any instructor I have ever seen. You make the workouts so much fun, I can't help smiling throughout the workouts. Exercising doesn't feel like a drudgery... it has become something I look forward to doing. Working out with you and the crew doesn't feel like "working out with DVDs", instead it feels like working out with friends. You exude such a warm personality, exuberance and friendliness. You are truly special because many people can "instruct" but only a few truly "teach" and inspire.
I discovered your workouts on Fit TV and since then I have purchased some of your DVDs/videos, a barbell, the High Step, a stability ball, tubing, and a few dumbells. I am 34 yrs old and before a year ago I was basically sedentary. In high school I dreaded the Physical Education sessions and had no interest in doing any sports. A few years ago I started walking upon the insistence of my boyfriend ( he thought exercising would help the frequent headaches I had), but did so on and off. I remember the first time I walked with my boyfriend and his colleages: It was a 2.5 Km track around our dam and they usually did 2 laps. I could barely keep up with them. I was terribly out of breath and my calves and side hurt badly.. I was so unfit !!
I had no muscle tone whatsoever and I had gained 15lbs in the previous 3 years. ( I am 5'1" and though at 125lbs I was still within normal BMI I felt heavy and sluggish and my body composition was all wrong.)
Last year I lost weight trough dieting and decided I didn't my muscle feeling like porridge anymore. It also hit me that I was getting older and I decided I wanted to do so with strength and vitality to ensure good quality of life. I also wanted to look good. I came across your workouts on FitTv and I haven't looked back since. This is the longest I have stuck to any exercise program. Although your workouts are very challenging and are geared towards the advanced exerciser, and I could be regarded as a beginner when I started, they were so much fun and you were so inspiring that I was motivated to keep trying them until my fitness level improved. I use lighter weights but I set goals and I feel such joy and a great sense of achievement when I reach each milestone. Thanks to you I have been exercising consistently for a year now and I am in the best shape I have ever been. I still have a lot to accomplish but I feel I am on my way.
You are truly a gifted person and I wish to thank you for sharing your gift with all of us, as I am sure you have impacted positvely on the lives of many others. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you good health, strength, happiness and continue success.
