Best Plate Mate site?

I'd like to call upon your experience & find out the best (lowest $ & good cust svc) web site to order more plate mates from.

TIA!

I ordered mine from fitness wholesale - https://www.fwonline.com/plate.htm

At the time that I bought them (about a year ago) they were the best price with shipping included. Their customer service and shipping time is fantastic. They are going to be expensive, especially if you order two sets each of 2 1/2 lbs and 1 1/4 pounds but they are soooo worth it. I use mine every day and have not regretted buying them at all. You could also check ebay and craigslist for used sets.

I have both the Plate Mates and Pace Weights, and I have to say -- I prefer the Pace Weights. They come in 1/2 lb increments and they're smaller, and they have a stronger magnet. They even stick to my vinyl coated barbell plates!

I've been searching for these for some time and cannot seem to find it for purchase here in Canada.
Any recs? (most of my plates are covered in rubber)
Thank you.

I got mine over 10 years ago at this point. Sorry, I can't remember where from, but I can concur: I have never regretted the purchase and cost. Use them a lot. I think I have the plate mates, and no, they have never fallen off. I don't have rubber coated dumbbells though. Not sure if that is an issue.

I have both and also prefer the pace weights, although both work really well? I just love being able to increase in 1/2 lb increments and being able to put an even amount of weight on both ends of the dumbbell. the benefit of the platemates, although they come in larger increments is that they cake min larger increments...meaning less fiddling around adding weight to the db.

Good luck!

I have both but definitely prefer the pace weights. The plate weights do not "stick" as well, I have had them fall off when doing chest flies. The pace weights also stick to the rubber weights which is good for me since my 8 and 10 pounds weights are rubber. This allows for 1/2 pound increments which is ideal for the smaller muscles. I ordered mine directly from pace weights.com. I am not sure if that is the cheapest site.
