best jog bra

I'm typically a C-cup, but during my last pregnancy I was up to an E by the time I delivered (and we won't even discuss what I looked like by the time my milk came in! LOL :). I would typically wear two jog bras, but I hated the way the doubling up of elastic "smooshed" my rib cage. Anyone have an opinion on the best jog bra during pregnancy? I'm teaching a prenatal low impact aerobics class and I'm also a frequent user of the elliptical trainer -- and already even that small amount of bouncing is becoming uncomfortable.

I know what you mean about constricting your ribcage. I'm usually a D cup, and I'm just starting to grow larger now, at 13 weeks.

The truth is, nothing works quite like doubling up, but some bras are tighter around the ribcage than others. I find that the racerback underwire by Champion works well under a tight full belly tank top, like the ones sold by Road Runner Sports. Those tanks hold everything in place.

I liked the Nike InnerActives encapsulation bra when I went up to a DD while pregnant. No smooshing and it did a great job of keeping everything in place. It was worth the hefty price tag ($47, I think), but I've since seen them at the Nike outlet near us for about half that.

Hee hee... I don't know what it is about something called an "encapuslation bra" that makes me giggle LOL :)

Actually $47 is less than some of the maternity bras I've found...

Has anyone tried any of the maternity jog bras sold by Mothers in Motion? Their "Glory" bra is on sale now, and I was considering that one...

LAST EDITED ON Nov-04-01 AT 10:15AM (Est)[p]I am in the same boat pretty much. I am almost 10 weeks now and desperately need to find some new workout bras. I have probably gone from normally a C cup to a D now. I was looking at the large selection that Title 9 Sports has. Has anyone bought any of them? Also, does Mothers in Motion have a website? I had not heard of them. Jogging on my treadmill is beocoming really uncomfortable lately. Step workouts don't seem to bother me as much yet but Im sure they will soon enough also.

Also, Im curious what those of you who are wearing maternity clothes have bought to workout in? I was thinking maybe the one piece unitard things that dont have a waistline might be more comfortable. But I have never worn the maternity workout shorts. Any thoughts?

Keep the bra suggestions coming! Im sure not everyone can wear the same types so the more ideas the better!
